Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I am a Leo ( Aug.)  I wanted so much to buy Kiwi  that was my birthstone color and loved her face but someone else beat me to the punch.  So when Junius was posted I was wasting no time...I had to have him!! Loved the color, blue eyes and his sweet face.... then a surprise Mango!!!! I love them all...and the rest is history.  I really am going to have to watch my grandsons are I know they will have their eye on these guys!!!  They love color!!!!  I feel like I am on cloud 9.... but I guess I will have to come down to earth and finish off some other bears that I have started.  Thanks for all your comments.  Tammy I see you have made a mohair bear ... she is a real cutie!!!!   How are things in N.S.?

From left to right is "Isadora" with her little bear, Junius to whom I purchased and Mango who is my Birthday bear.  Aren't they GREAT!!!!     It was like xmas here and my husband who picks up the mail every day did not say a word to me.... the package was waiting on the counter when I get home from work.  They all came with a ATC, Certificate of Authenticity and sketch and birthday card!!!! I am so excited!!!!

Kim, he is wonderful!!!!     You have done a fantastic job! I have a list to that I will have to add this to. Matilda,  no no no he is mine!!!!(I have your platypuss on a want list as well! )
When I was growing up we had a pet raccoon named Oliver and we also had recued a family babie raccoons as their mom got hit by a car.  We raised them and when they were old enough we let the go.  They were a lot of fun to look after.

I would think you could provided you state that they are not your design patterns.  Patterns for sale by varies artists. I have some as well that I bought when I first started making bears and then found that I was designing my own patterns and never used the bought patterns.  I have seen other patterns on there for sale by others.

Thank everyone!  I was not going to sell her at first then thought I would see how it goes I sold her a while ago.  Didn't know she was going to win .... and surprise!  I enjoy making bears and see how they come together.

Just wanted to share with you,
"Daisy" won the NCTB April 2006 Newsletter challenged that was to create a bear with a 'Flowery' theme.
She is wearing a  Daisy head, a disy embroidery on one foot pad, the ribbon has a daisy print on it and daisies around her. He Loves Me... He loves Me Not.. He Loves Me...

I have a lot on the go as well. Between getting a website up and running and grandkids and kids and work...I am trying to get bears done to sell and an order and swap bears.....Krista I am working on a couple and not sure which one I will be sending you.  I do like yoru style and I am sure I will love the one you decide to send!!  I will let you decide. Has any one finished their swap bear for the summer?  I have starter but have not finished.  I have to stay off this darn computer.  I have been working on a web site which I  now have up and running.  Now I must go and work on BEARS! BEAR ! BEARS!

I found out about freewebs.com from Tammy W.  I don't know anything about the HTLM stuff but you can go in sign up and pick a template for their samples and add your different pages and add the stuff you want or don't want to your pages.  They have it so it all links up.  Easy for me and I can then make my own changes and don't have to wait for anyone else to make the changes for me.  Not as fancy as some of the others but its a start and the price is right! I will make some more chances and updates as I go. You would be surprised on how fast the time goes when you are doing all this stuff on the computer.  I now have to get working on bears!!!!
