  Well,I had my bear ,Finian(my avatar) listed on ebay with the intention of donating half of the auction to the victims of hurricane Katrina but I violated ebay rules and they pulled my auction.I just wanted to help,I don't have any spare cash(we are having a bad summer but I know I am blessed and things could be much worse) so I thought this was  good idea.I don't blame ebay at all,I obviously am in the wrong but I am still very sad about it.I will find another way to help.

I'm just wondering if anyone has used the "new" no bake clay  called 
"Makin's Clay" by Greensward Company LTD. I've always used "Fimo" or "Sculpey" and just discovered this clay at a craft store in a city about two hours from my place.I'm sure it is not new to some of you so I was wondering how it compares to the "bake" kinds.I would love to hear of any and all experiences.Thanks girls(oh sorry,and Scott) in advance.

Hi Kim.big bear hugs and welcome.Your little purple darling looks much clearer to me I am a great admirer of your work and I was just visiting your website.Your little fairies are awesome and I love the music.Can I ask how you do that and what is the tune.I found the music very soothing and enthralling,I didn't want to leave so I'm going back very soon.Is this music available on a CD? I know I sound a bit silly but what can I say?So glad to see you here and can't wait to see more pictures.

I'm not really "flush "with money right now but I'm going to relist Finian and donate at least half of the auction proceeds to help the people affected by Hurricane Katrina.I just hope he sells If he doesn't sell,I'll just have to dig somewhere else for money to help as I feel it is very important.

My prayers are full at this time for all those affected by this terrible event.

Thanks Shelli,always informative,useful input on your part.We are seeing the little tiny cars more around here,"Smart cars" and I think they run on diesel.Our gas is over $5.00 a gallon and I'm just hearing it's going up due to the hurricane.I am working on a swap bear with another artist and then will move on to some bears with a more seasonal theme.I will be busy at school soon but with the kids at school everyday and me being a "sub" I may get some well needed days at home alone to create(well only if the hubby is on day shift at the time because he qualifys as one of the distracting kids)
Any way,I will ride this out and hope for the best and may end up devoting more time to soft sculpture dolls or my sculpted creations out of polymer.I will continue to create though as my heart and soul cannot survive or thrive without that outlet.

Yes Jane the price of gas is horrible and no choice but to use it.That's outrages that they charge more for early morning train fare.Makes no sense.We can only hope things omprove.

It's on the same page as Sue Ann's sweet Calypso and she has two adorable bears on the back page. I echo you exactly Roxanne and you make a very valid point about keeping your name out there and making someone truly happy with one of your bears.We just have to hang in there:)

Here's something to throw in the pot also,allergies.yes I'm allergic to anything that grows basically,wheat and dairy are big and they are in almost everything we eat in some form or another.Then I'm allergic to  lots of vegetables,fruit and chicken and fish.Okay,now this covers almost all foods in some aspect and no.as far as I know,I will not die if I eat any of them but I tried restrictive diets and basically had a reaction to almost everything.So beyond not eating there is no sensible choice for me other than taking an allergy pill everytime I put something in my mouth.I have researched food plans and alternatives but this is the only choice that makes sense.My reactions are annoying,not life threatening.My symptoms are dizziness,nausea.stuffy head,heartburn and headache.I cannot function without allergy pills as food makes me feel like I have a very bad flu.

Anyway so as far as diets go,there are none that I can follow,I restrict many foods and could never follow a set diet.I also gained weight on weight watchers when I was on it years ago in high school so Dilu.I can not only not follow directions or restrictions but it's harmful to me to do so. Tell me what i can and cannot eat ,Ha!

My Mom also feels that dieting and specifically following a set diet plan where you ate only that companies meals as contributing to the development of her breast cancer.No,I will not name the plan.Dieting and continuously dieting are harmful.People need to adopt a healthy lifestyle as Judi and Shelli have said  because they have made some very valid points.It should come down to choices,not restrictive diets.
