Hi Claire,
I've only just seen this comment, thanks so much! Your bears are lovely :)

Hi Katie! Smith is a lovely colour, I really like the way you name your bears too, very fitting!!!
I too loved reading this thread, I found that I have settled into making miniature bears without really intending to. I just love how you can get all the character and design of a traditional bear into something that you can fit into the palm of your hand!
True they take a long time to complete but are definitely worth all the effort. I also like that I can fit my materials, stuffing, fur and tools into a small container that takes up hardly any room at all! Sometimes I'm tempted to leave my bears "bare" beacause the challenge of creating scaled down clothes and accessories for miniatures is an art in itself!!!
Bertie Bear is now available in my Etsy shop.
I have been taking inspiration from all the lovely red leaves that are beginning to fall from the trees here in the UK.
His mohair is the same colour as some of them. I love autumn and it's beautiful rich colours
Hello Peter,
They're lovely pictures of Sarah's bears!
Thanks for sharing them with us.
I could understand about 25% of the article! Should have studied harder at school......
Such a sweet and innocent face! How tall / small is Liberty ?
He's a cutie for sure
Thanks so much Brenda
Congratulations!
I'm hoping to go ( if I can twist hubby's arm again ) so will come and say hello
Thanks Edie and yes Becky you're right he does rather!!!
Thanks Becky, I love making the accessories to coordinate with my bears. My heart is in my mouth though sometimes when I'm taking them through the ageing process, I want them to look well loved but not unloved.
Thank you Barling Bears. She is a little sweetie, maybe it's because she happens to have been sitting on a sweetie tin for too long, I think she must have eaten them all!
Manfred and his dog are delightful, I can see that hours of work must have gone into making them both!
Thanks for the welcome Sue Ann, it's good to be back!
I've been missing the wonderful world of bears
Very sweet, Florida certainly lives up to his name!
oops meant to "the detail" as in the nose and mouth! Oh and those claws............
Superb! This detail is fab you should be proud of yourself
Hello everyone!
It's been ages since I paid TT a visit! In fact it has been so long that I had to search high and low for my login password ( good thing I'm the kind of person that writes things down ) It's nice to see some familiar names in the posts and some amazing bears too!
I have been busy with life in general but now I have some time I'm back to making my bears - don't we always seem to get drawn back in ???
I hope to post here more often then I did before instead of hiding away in the background!
Hugs to all,
Ginie
Wow you must be well pleased and I'm sure Lyn will be bowled over by him!
What a sweet little face
Hi Jane, thanks for the pics , even though I was there, in all the excitement I missed a couple of exhibitors so it is great to see the bears that got away! It was a truly great show. I hope that you are feeling better now,
Hugs Ginie-Lee
