mention why we love to make our warm fuzzies :)

The economy is really cause for some seriously down moments, BUT, we will get through it and come out on a better curve of the circle!

In the meantime, let's share our reasons and joys about our lovely *hobby*.
I've written a bit about it in my blog sudeybabes.blogspot.com and will start the ball rolling with an excerpt here...hoping more of you can take a moment and share, too!

"...As the warm fuzzies take shape, the undeniable personality starts to form. Ohhh so cute (laughing at myself!). The creative need flows in my heart again. It's always around in some form. Some more fun than others. But I've transferred the need to create something lovable into a little ball of mohair and polyfil. And it reminded me of my kids."

There are a few out there, but the more the merrier if you can get a grouping of sites! I get a variety of hits from the ones I belong to. I used webrings with my author's site and they were invaluable.

Here is the starting page for one of the Artist Bear Webrings:

I don't know about everyone else but I feel as if I am in Photoshop 101...and LOVING the information!
I've used a different graphics program for years and recently the disc shattered, so I have used Photoshop as a back-up and felt the same..."wandering in a foreign country" aura when I open the program.

This has been a GREAT help...THANK-YOU!

Hi Jenny,
I am just sitting here smiling with such a warm glow in my heart...and ok, a bit of extra liquid floating around the rims of my eyes. My son is now 6'6" and living five states away, but we still have a tremendous bond and in an instant I can take myself back to the baby years with him! I'm in the pre-nana years at the moment.

Seeing your precious Eric just made me think of all the wonderful moments ahead for you and your new grandson :)

Wonderful.
Peace,

Hiya Cat :)

Just went to your blog and saw the great artistic drawing of *mummy*.
This Blogging can be quite addictive as well as good networking. Really gives you a chance to broaden your world without all the expense of air travel :)

Sudey

Just added you Janice and have been enjoying your blog...especiailly the great design!

I've been communicating on the Internet since 1992 and am always a bit astonished at how the design process has progressed! Trying now to catch-up a bit:)

Good for you for going back to the University. As "mature" (cough cough) as I am, there are still so many things to learn in this world.

Thanks for adding me and I hope this "Blog Hug" can continue to grow!

Peace,
Sudey

Hello Ladies :)

I've added both of you to my follow list if that is OK.  I'm fairly new to blogging because of the time it can take away from other interests, but have been a writer for many years so I've succombed to the urge of the Internet written word! I don't just talk about teddys on my blog (I actually have two started to follow different interests) but it will be fun to follow your creativity.

Thanks for the heads-up

It IS addictive!
Peace,

What a joyous announcement! Congratulations on such a blessed day :)

I just started my studio with Artfire this week and have been very happy with the response/views so far. They seem to be very keyed in to the sellers needs. I've gone with the intro rate for unlimited listings.

Peek in and have a look around. It's seems like they will be making some serious advertising.

Please stop by at my studio, too, if you get a chance :)

It IS a small world isn't it? LOL  But in this instance, pretty cool, too.

I live in Foxchase and raised two Jackson High School graduates :) who at this moment are both in Floirida until next week.  Guess we have (Polar) Bears in the blood :)

Go Bears!!!!!

Hi Tami,

(waving across Columbus)

Hopefully the other Ohioans can check in. too. Safety in mutual Geography?
grin

Sudey

As I look out the window at the mildly snow-sprinkled (but cold) Northeast Ohio tundra, I was wondering how many other Buckeye Bearlovers are floating around in the Ursus Americanus world here?

I'm a transplanted Buckeye (30 years!) living in the Northeast, about an hour from Cleveland. Originally from Pittsburgh and that made for some interesting Monday Night football games, let me tell you!

Peace,
Sudey
