Thank you so much for your advice, they are really helpful. I'm not very familiar with law and specially not with UK law.
Hope to find a way to stop this womens activities,
At the moment I'm so upset about a lady who isn't paying her bill.
At the beginning of this year she bought 3 of my bears. Two of them she paid as once and for the 3. one I offered her a 3 part layaway. Posted the bear after the second payment -yes I now, never do this- and... nothing happend, no payment.
The answer to my mails was that she can't pay at the moment. I'm a patient person and so I gave her more time to pay. In her next mail she told me, that she had to sell the bears she bought because of her bad financial situtation. She sold all bears on bearpile (including the unpaid one) and again nothing happend. I'm still waiting for my money.
Now she is answering my mails in the name of a friend telling me that she is absent for 3 weeks and still ingnoring my paypal invoices. Meanwhile I have been informed from others that this isn't the first time she plays games like this.
I'm interested to hear if you have similar experiences and what you have done.
Is there a black list for for dubious collectors I don't know or have you published the name of such a person on your blog/facebook to protect other bearmakers or anything else?
The problem is that she is living in the UK and I'm here in Germany, that makes a law suit difficult.
This is Thommy, my Golden Teddy Nominee.
Good to hear that it is reliable. So many fraud mail come to my mail account that I'm totally mistrustful.
I also get a mail and I was afraid that it isn't serious. Its a littlebit strange to use the bearpile members as a mailing list.

Yesterday I finished Andy. He is going to live with his new Mum at the other side of the world. I'm sure that I will miss him
Oh how cute. I know this "problem". When I packing parcels to post a bear and I go out of the room, I have to controll not to post also a cat with the bear.
That happens if you don't look at the last page. Bought it a few weeks ago, but didn't see this! What a shame, it was a wonderful magazine and I bought every issue. Hope that the other 3 magazines go on. Susan
He is a very nice guy, love his handmade collar
He is a cutie, always wonder how to sew this tiny bears. Susan
I dip the color pencil into water before use, that helps to add the color at the fur. Or I use arylic paint. Take a small flat brush (not a round one) and dip it on a tissue before use. For very soft color I use pastels. Take a little powder from the pastels with you brush and bring it to the fur. The color is very soft at the fur and perhaps you have to do it 2 or 3 times. Susan
Just have found an English link:

Yes, it must be a nightmare if something like this happens to a human being.

The article is in German, but it says that this poor soul (living in a zoo in Leipzig, Germany) has lost his hair. They don't now why, but think that it could be a gene-deffect or a stress reaction.
