I wonder if they will post anything if they think she is getting ready?
I hope so.
Just think how great it's going to be when she has the cubs!!
I wish we could name them!! Have a contest or something.
I also noticed Lily has a collar on her. Which I'm sure is to keep tract of her but when she was doing some moving around this morning I could clearly see it on her.
I'm already attached to this bear!!!
My husband is setting up a monitor in the kitchen for me!!!!
She's moving right now Pat and you can see her face.
Hi Maria,
I believe Germany is 9 hours ahead of California. Right now it's 9 am here and it should be 6 pm in Germany. So at 5 am here today it would have been 2 pm for you. You did post about 1 hour after me so that would have been right at the time I was watching her. I saw her do pretty much the same thing as you. A lot of scratching, licking and she looked right into the camera!!You could really see her face!! It was neat!! I'm hopelessly addicted I'm afraid. :)
I do hope with others here on Teddy Talk watching that maybe we can alert each other when she goes into labor.
I have to leave for the doctors right now but when I return I want to research the web and see about how long they labor for. I have no idea if it varies like for humans or if it pretty much take around the same time for each bear.
I do hope we can see it live on the cam!!
Boy I'm lovin' this link!!
Up all hours of the night dealing with this brain tumor this link has given me something to focus on other than pain.
Around 4 am PST she started to move a bit and then between 5 and 5:30 am she really showed her cute face and groomed herself quite a bit.
Boy this is fun!!!
Thanks again for the link.
I'm sure Beth it's her. :)
Maybe when spring comes you too can buy a bag and let them go in your garden or yard. :)
Tami I don't like them in the bags either so I started a few years back buying them on line and having them shipped directly to me. That way they aren't just left on a counter at the store in a bag waiting for someone to buy them.
However there is a lot of controversy about using harvested ladybugs.
Here's an article you might want to read.
http://www.learn2grow.com/problemsolver … ybugs.aspx
As with anything Tami there is controversy. As I'm sure you know. So I try to use companies that don't over harvest. The harvesting of wild ladybugs if it is done responsibly shouldn't deplete the natural colonies. :)
Some times I feel like I can't win for losing!!!!!
I think I like Jaffa the best.
The way she did his/her? eyes are really nice. Gives a great expression to the whole face.
Lovely collection she has made for you.
I LOVE Lady Bugs!!
I buy them by the bags full every spring and release them in my garden!
It's great to see them hanging around eating other pesky bugs!
Gosh I wish I could sleep that sound!!!!
I found 4 sets of cards all with bears on them!
I'm so excited to send them out I feel a bit silly!!!!!
I know these aren't going to be as cute as the homemade cards but I think they'll be enjoyed.
Thanks again Gail for heading this up. You're a sweetheart.
Thank you for the extra info and the update Julie.
Sounds like all of Georges worries are over. All he has to do now is eat, sleep and be happy!!!!
It opened for me Lenora.
Don't tell me I broke it!!!!!!
Thanks for the link.
I really LOVE the color of this little bear!
I see she is already sold.
Good for you!
Gees I wonder why you like this one so...
Adorable!!!!
Thanks Edie.
I didn't mean to take over this thread with my story. Sorry Becky.
You made some really good points and as sad as it is with what happened to the monkey happens everyday in real life to children as you and so many others know. It's just mind boggling to me why we would have kids and then do this. Yes many are mentally ill ,on drugs and such but many are not. Just last week we had another baby born alive and then put in a trash dumpsters. We here in California have a law like in many other states where you can take a new born up 3 days old and turn them in to a fire station, police station, church or hospital and leave it. No questions asked. No one will ask your name or whether or not you are a illegal resident. Yet still babies are dumped.
I like many could not have children yet adoption is made so difficult. Many of you have comment about Joseph. Here is even another tragic piece of what happened to him. He was removed from his biological parents at 3 months and placed in foster care. Because of prior children in the home being in the system he was available for adoption immediately. He should have never been in a long term foster home. Yet let alone one for 8 years. He should have gone to an adoptive home right away. If this had been the case his chances for a loving, caring home would have been better.
It's Just so hard to understand. I guess really there is no understanding.....
It's still raining Clare?
Wow if that happened here we would have horrible mudslides. But that's because of all the fires we have.
Oh please please be careful then Mary!!
Thieves run scams all the time.
One Mother got a call from a lady saying her son was in the hospital and they needed money as his insurance was no good in this particular foreign country.
Her son wasn't even in the hospital (Thank goodness) but they thieves got $5000 from her.
I love your blog!!!!!!
TUGBOATS
Terry's ugly goat Boris often amuses the students.
STUDENTS
Good to see you back.
I have sent money 3 times. Once in a birthday card and it never made it and then the next time I used Pay Pal.
Now my nephew has a bank account so I just transfer at Christmas right into his account.
Don't you know Mary that this is a homemade card swap only?
JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!
If that were the case I would be out. :)
I just bought mine. Boy a lot of cards with bears on them!! Much better selection than at Christmas.
Hey do any of you remember as a kid in school decorating a paper bag for Valentine cards? I only went to Kindergarten and 1st grade but I remember making a brown paper bag into a holder for all the cards we swapped.
I can't wait to see the homemade ones you talented people make.
Thank you all for your support and kind words.:)
Now I don't know what to say.
Life can be difficult as we see from all the different life stories here and throughout other post.
Sue Ann you talked about your Collie. Such smart dogs. My daughter has a Sheltie "Spirit" and although she had us to help her I really don't think she would have made it through without him. Such unconditional love our pets give us.
Thanks again everyone.
Good good good! Keep them coming everyone!!!
The more the merrier!!!
