I am off to bed...started at 3:30 this morning....and I am too tired to read through all those posts.

Anyway, YES...Penny, I agree and that is why I started this post.  I know there are alot of ladies out there who could offer so much and perhaps feel like we have this 'closed circle' going on.  But if the truth were known, if it weren't for us chatter boxes, who would be here?

That is exactly why the LURKERS need to come out and get into this (unless of course you are a un-reformable nasty...NO NASTIES allowed)
We would love to hear new stuff  :clap:  ideas, comments..........JUST JUMP IN!

I have done need felting for a long time and I know all too well, how many poke, poke, pokes you had to do for that darling face Fran.
Did you make the dress as well?  and do I see antique lace on the sleeve cuffs?

Thank you Shantell...but I have to say, I am like you...I am getting inspired too!
I really had no idea what I was doing ( never having done this before)...but I have all kinds of ideas running around in my head now.  And do I have time to do it!
I had other 'friends' I could have entered but they were all sold and the pictures were taken at 72 DPI.  So that left them out. 
But I am getting ready for next year!  I hope you will be too!

Well, Shari...if it makes you feel any better.  I am an empty nester, home all day alone and I STILL don't have the time.  I think it is called mis-management.  I dauddle away at things that I shouldn't be doing (like chatting on TT) and don't do what I need to be doing.
I need someone with a whip or maybe it would be a little easier if I took a class in self-discipline.

Imagine how interesting it would be if we had input from all the people who just like to read.

We all love to read and learn from these posts, but it is so narrow right now.  You only learn from a few.

  If we had a lot more input, this group would be the worlds best (not that it isn't close now)...but I want to learn more and we NEED YOU!!!

Ok, Sophie...then you need to get out and go for a walk.  Get outside girl !!!

Everyday I walk.  Not in the rain, but cold, hot...it doesn't matter.  I just get out and when I come back I am refreshed and feel so much better.  Besides it gives all the dogs in the neighborhood someone to bark at...something to look forward to, you know, kind of like 'lunch on two legs'  :doh:   What would the dogs do without me?  I know they look forward to seeing me.
On rainy days, I take a long soaking bath...candles the whole bit.  Sometimes I will go downstairs and snip a bunch of violet blossoms and throw them in as well...just to see them floating around.  Anything to give your mind a new direction.

Did we have a thread on this or did a friend tell me about using those daylight bulbs to help get over the winter duldrums?  Anyway, the person who was talking about it said that it really worked.

Well, after Judi and Shelli posted their beautiful creations....Mary Mouse and I shyly and with some reluctance, draw back the curtain for her debut!!!!!  Be GENTLE with your comments, Mary Mouse is very sensitive...I haven't told her yet " You ain't got a pray kid"  . It would break her itty bitty pea size heart...I think she could sit on Piggies nose.:lol:

Hubby had to go out of town today so he was up at 3:30...after he left I couldn't sleep, so I decided to get on computer (is there anything else?) and try to learn my new software to edit my website...I got on-line and a message popped up..."hey Nance, what are you doing up so early?"  So Eileen and I got all the MEN problems and world problems solved in a few short hours.
I am always one for trying something just to see how far I can go with it...and this is no different.  You are absolutely correct that I have learned a lot so far about entries.    Next year I will do better. 
I will try to post my little gal ...I tried once but she came out to be a whopper.

Lynette, that is just too funny about the price difference...holy smokes, 1.5 Millon?  That thing should be able to take x-rays, for that kind of money. 
So did you enter this year...what? what category? post a picture?
