I cut a small square out of the yellow mohair and soaked it for 5 minutes in dilute bleach and then rinsed ... and it is just what I want (a lovely pale lemon)...so I will treat the rest of the piece on Saturday, when I have time.  Many, many thanks, Joanne!

I use Milliput.  It stays workable for about 30 minutes and is extremely strong.

He is wonderful.  I love those fabulous paws!

I dyed some mohair yellow a while back.  I was hoping for a nice, pale lemon but it is a 'knock your socks off' bright yellow. It has sat in my stash ever since.  Does anyone know if it could be over-dyed with another colour?  It is a lovely piece of mohair but I somehow doubt that I will use it 'as is'.

I'm really sorry you have had such a bad experience.  If I am ordering from a business I don't know, I usually do a Google search on their name to see if there are any reviews or comments about them online.  I have been lucky and never had any problems buying on the Internet or through Ebay. 

Do you think the company you ordered from has stopped operating or has 'gone bust'?

I had a lovely day and it was great to make some new friends...as well as meeting old ones -  you placed my table next to Jean and Bill (who I already knew as I attended a weekend course they hosted last year).  It was great to meet another Teddy-Talker, Lisa, such lovely bubbly person and her charming husband), the lovely Cathryn of Cathryn's Bears and Brendan and David (Brendan's Bears) who had the table the other side of me.  I met some lovely collectors who promised the bears would be going to very loving homes...so all in all, it was a tiring, but fun day.

Many, many congratulations to Lisa of Boogaloo Bears who picked up three awards at the NBAA Awards yesterday!  It was lovely to meet you and your other half and I will now be able to 'put a face' to your posts!  I hope you had aa good trip home afterwards.
