                  I have justed paid a visit to your site,and it is amazing. Your bears are truly wonderful , I love the one on your front page with the harp ,she is just adorable. Time is hanging on my hands now and will be for a few months,but At least I can browse and take time to chat ,without feeling guilty. Like Jane said ,Teddy Talk Family is just so great, no words can say how I feel about  each and everyone of you. All Topics get an answer , and the great feeling of friendship is so strong, I need my fix now every day..  Take care of each other All of you.

                                   I got all your good wishes and had Television ,Telephone and e-mail facilities right to hand over my bed,although it was probably late Sunday/Monday before I used them.  Youre a real trues friend as all of you on Teddy Talk are too,I,m sure my recovery will be quicker because of all your kindness etc. At the moment its sleeping, taking pills, eating and reading and I know as soon as I feel like sewing again ,I will be on the mend.  Take Care of each other .

Hi Dilu and All,
                              I,m here OK, but still very tired,and sore, although I have enough painkillers to last me for ever.I normally don't do pills at all if I can help it.  So I will try to add to the posta as I get a little stronger.That was 8 days I was in Hospital,but I got the very best treatment and I now know why Nurses are called Angels.... So my Friends all your prayers and messages of Support came over The Big Pond OK. Love to you all, Your the Very Best.

Hi Everyone,
                          I got home from hospital yesterday, still very uncomfortable,as I picked up an infection ,so I am on antibiotics as well as lots of other medication. From the waist up I am nearly normal,just very tired ,which is the very opposite of my normal self, I did not need the stoma bag ,so its all went well,now the healing process will begin. I have a list of Don'ts filling 2 A4 sheets. Thank-you all for your prayers and thoughts. In a day or two I hope to get back to reading through what I,ve missed and catch up wiyj everyone then.

             So sorry to hear about your terrible pain, hope your infection clears up and you get your op pretty soon. Tummy pain is always bad anyway ,I think,so just you take it easy and get better real quick. Pity we did not stay nearer and we could have recuperated to-gether then.  Take Care and God Bless.

Well, My inspiration came from my friend Alison Morton of Brodie Bears, I used to do some sewing for her from time to time and she made the most beautiful bears you have ever seen.... The rest was history really,and my bears look nothing like Ali's for some strange reason.. Hugs Rita xxx

Hi Girls,
                   Well, i have just spent nearly 3 hours at Crosshouse Hospital this morning for a series of Pre-Op tests. So its all set for Thursday (Day of the Op ).

Eileen, I will go and look for 2 ,Queen Street ,next time I,m down, I love that place too, I was Born on the Isle of Islay but went to school in Glasgow ,about 30 minutes from Helensburgh ,so we went there often. Will be in touch hopefully some time next week. Big Hugs from Rita xxxx

My Dearest Dilu, You are one amazing person,  You have just answered a lot of questions for me in one go. I will do as you have said and abide by the rules, you can be sure if I need to understand some more after I have my surgery I will be in touch with my Personal Nurse Dilu.  We do have a great District Nursing Service here in Scotland and always after Major Surgery. Will keep you informed of my progress etc...

Now ,Hamish MacBeth was the policeman with the West Highland Terrier, what a great series it was, so now ,on the 25th of July they are bringing out the first 2 DVd's and a further 3 in December.  You look after all your wonderful wollygogs whilst I am away,and Thank-You again for the much appreciated information.

                        I go into Hospital on Wednesday with the op on Thursday, I also have to go for 2-3 hours to-morrow (Monday ) for ECG, blood tests etc, which is a new way of time saving when you go for your op. But although a bit nervous,I am a very positive person anyway, and with all your support I just know that i'll be fine. As soon as I can I will let you all know how I,ve been. I will look forward to catching up with the postings as soon as I am well enough. You lot all take care of one another while I,m gone.

I took a load of bear to Posh Paws in Helensburgh last week ,but forgot to take my camera....Silly me. I am a great believer in prayer and this group will have me up and about in no time..                    I've just ordered the DVD's of Hamish MacBeth coming out in July.  Did you see it over in Canada ?,about the little white Scottie.  Anyway, the next 3 are due out in December so I have earmarked them for Xmas....  I am not usually a person thats down very often ,but maybe the age factor has something to do with it, my health in general is excellent apart from this.                    Trying not to think to much about it, but I am thinking positively. I was told I may have a colostomy bag for a few days and that scares me more than anything . But it has to be done ,I need to get my life back, I am not a very good patient,I need to be doing things all the time...                        Your Bear faces are just to die for, but I do agree with the others,Sculpted Toes look super when done properly,and yours look absolutely superb. I do agree with eileen ,you must put your prices up when you do this intricate work. They look amazing, although ,I cannot see the neck joints too well. Hugs Rita xxxx
