Thank you once more for bringing the lovely "Twiddles" home with you. 
Although I wasn't able to attend the show, at least a very small part of the show came home to me ! 
And thank you for taking such good care of Twiddles during his journey home; he does seem to have enjoyed it (he can't stop talking about everything he saw  ).

And also to you, dear Marilyn, a big thank you, for brightening up my days with this adorable teddy !

I'm so pleased you had a great time and the show was a success (especially the sell out for you)!  :clap:

I have heard from several artists that there was a very good crowd; it goes to show that real teddy bear lovers don't stay away because of a bit of rain. 

It's always lovely to see artists from outside the UK going to the show as well, even though I can imagine it's not all that easy travelling with a whole hug of bears.
It's just a pity that there always seems to be not enough time, especially for the artists (but for the visitors as well). 

I certainly hope to see you on one of the next shows !

I love Benny Bear too, Daphne; the fur is beautiful and luscious and I love the round shapes (the big tummy, the big feet, the round head). 

But let's be honest : the baptism of your nephew was just an excuse made up by his mother to get you to make a bear !

Generally I like the bigger traditional teddy bears, but there is something about these bears and especially the bunnies that makes them really special.
I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but they are so ....  well, lovely ! 

Surely they will be very popular tomorrow and I hope you will have a great day and a good crowd in Kensington !

I suspect you had "Elwyn" up your sleeve all along (though you would need very big sleeves  ) and just waited until the last moment to show him to us !!    Save the best for last !

He is the gorgeous-est and adorable-est of them all. 

And to be completely honest, he would be the one going home with me, not one of the Careworn Collection.

I also agree with you Jacqui, I regularly check e-bay for artist bears, but because there are so many manufactured bears among them, I have given this up.
Now I only search on OOAK artist bears and even this category is tainted with limited edition bears, bear patterns (which I don't think belong there) and other stuff.

Hi Natascha,

I'm sure you will have a great time at your first Hugglets show.  It's literally buzzing with activity and the atmosphere is just wonderful: everyone is in the best of spirits and you will meet a lot of TT'ers there.   
When I visited last September for the first time, I made a list of all the TT'ers that would be there exhibiting.  I guess I missed a few, but I did manage to talk to several people in person and it was great.

I'm also sure your animals will be a great succes and many will get adopted.  So enjoy the day to the fullest !   :dance:

Timofey is absolutely adorable, Edie !   

He has got such an endearing, sad, "give me a hug and some cookies" look on his sweet little face.  Who could resist him.

When you posted a little bit about this couple on facebook, I commented that I loved the bear, but wasn't really keen on the doll ?   You were absolutely right : they make a delightful couple together     And the story behind it is so endearing : I can just imagine the enchanted forest with the gnomes and trolls, all wanting to be cuddled by the babysitter.      Absolutely wonderful !
