Oh, by the way....I am still looking for anyone who wants to link. Not having much luck in that area.
 Thank you so much for your wonderful comments....and taking the time to be so explicit.
I am thrilled that the site was able to evoke the feelings of 'enchantment', 'magical' , 'soft' , 'delicate' etc. This is exactly what feelings, I wanted it to create.
I was really anxious to hear what you gals had to say...to see if it gave you warm fuzzy !!!
I just told Carrie what I wanted and away she went.....I am really thrilled with her work. Her work has been mainly for animal breeders as she is a real animal lover herself. So this teddy bear thing was a challenge, but she said she really enjoyed doing it.
So I want to thank you...on Carrie's behalf and thank you for the sweet words about my 'friends'...that was unexpected, but so nice to read.
Nanc.......
Girls, I would like you to give me your 'professional' opinions about my new site...if you get a chance to visit.
I am really excited about it. I think the gal who created it did a wonderful job and she loved the avatar Shelli made for me and used it as my link banner.
She asked me to check it over and make sure everything is correct...but since this is my first website, I would really like to have other opinions, I might miss something.
Thanks so much,
nanc......
Glenys, your site is just beautiful....very 'comfortable' to enter and stay a while.
Great job !

Oh Jane, how sad! Asthma is awful. I have 2 friends with children who are asthmatic. One of them is so bad they had to remove the carpeting in the house ... all the stuffed toys, it is so sad. The other one is little Bailey and he is just 1. His parents are having a hard time dealing with it. The mother cannot give up her 2 cats and this child is on a breathing apparatus, steriods...you name it. He is always in the emergency room. I love my Bootie Boy, but there would be no contest if one of my children had asthma.
Fran...that picture is just plain adorable. Bootsie is a 'hugger' too and he is a big boy, so when he gets a hold of you, you can really feel his strength.
thanks for the piccie
Nanc......
Sorry Deb...everyone I find has sugar, at least 1 TBS.
 WELCOME TO THE SISTERHOOD OF AILUROPHILES !
Loved your letter to the son, Kim...soooo funny.
Had to add this for Dilu's cousin singing at the beer garden! Thought it could be hung in the appropriate spot to add ambience to the festival
Ok Kim...so you are feeling a little weak in the 'kitty department' zeroing in for the kill, here!!!
If this little gal, happily singing Christmas carols , doesn't play with your mind and make you run straight down to the pound (no matter what hubby says).... then, I'll keep trying
Whats going on here Eileen?
It looks like you are getting him ready to take to your tent!
I loved all your stories!
Bootsie likes to take a miniature bear part that he knows he is not allowed to have. He will even get into my baskets in search.
I have a little round sewing box that I had to quit using because he figured out how to remove the lid and EXPOSE all the goodies contained there in!
I have leFt parts out that I didn't like the way they turned out...just so he can steal them, but for some reason totally unbeknown to me...he never takes those. How does he know the ones I want ?
Loved your pop goes the weasel story Dilu. I bet that is just so much fun to watch.
Well, my only explanation is: A CAT IS A CAT AND THAT IS THAT!!
Crocery bags and shiny ribbons...OH MY!!
They really are funny animals, aren't they?
These two are not mine, the photo was sent to me and I thought it was cute because my Bootsie is always into boxes too.
The recipients may get a bigger surprise than they thought !!
Too cute ! Someone has a 'clever idea day' !!
Thanks for sharing.
Nancy
Oh Jenny...that is truly a KODAK MOMENT !!
How adorable! and so much fun to look at.
Thanks for sharing
Nancy
Jane, you are truly amazing. What a wonderful job you did, to send us all the gift of 'laughing' that probably won't stop for days.
You are a sweetie
Nancy
Hahaha, Denise ... that's a good one.
Thanks for sharing Shelli...it sounds toooo toooo good!
nancy
Yes, please Jazzy...I would be proud to pass it on ! I have seen similar ones, but I don't think we can see photos like this enough!
We go about our everyday lives and hardly have time to think or pray for our young people over there, on a daily basis...we need to see these pictures more often.
I look at the young man sitting up in the first picture and can barely see his wedding ring...I am sure there is a wife and children that miss him terribly.
I heard about a warden in Texas who makes his prisoners wear pink and stay in tents. They complained bitterly and got the news involved and agencies to protect their rights. When questioned...he said that what they were going thru was nothing compared to the way our young people are being made to live, in Iraq and for them to stop their complaining.
Interesting!
Nanc....
Glenys...that's great  just let me know what I need from you to link.
Chrissie, I will definitely put you Iloveteddies on mine.
Estelle, I need to find out from Carrie (lady who is making my site) about putting a reciprocal link in.
My new site is: www.TeddyBearChaser.com altho you can just put in teddybearchaser and it will come up as well.
Right now, all that appears is the header page and music, with Coming Soon.
I will send these off to Carry...thank you.
Nanc..........
Thank you Shelli...I thought maybe there was a different way that you knew about, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered you.
I will contact Mindy ... she called me one time about a felted bear I made, so I do know her 'a little' !
Thanks Shel,
Nancy........
Hi Kim,
I am going to enter but have the same thoughts as you do.
However, how do we EVER get over being new and get to be known? The only way I know how to get past that ,is to get your work and your name out there and this is the opportunity knocking on Kim's door.
Even if we don't get any recognition or win anything this time (and you never know!)...we have let them know we are here and now they will know our names and our work.
I know that there are artists that win a lot and rightly deserve to do so...I do feel however, that magazines and collectors are constantly looking for something new.
So, please jump in and let them know you are an artist and want to join 'the party'.
Hugs and Merry Christmas, Kim

Shelllll....read 3 posts up.
Shelli,
I cannot read the files. I downloaded all the info for the Toby, but I cannot access it because it was written on WORD...I have WORKS.
Any ideas?
Nancy
How beautiful! I wanted to look inside, but this danged dial up was still running after 10 minutes and I finally gave up. Is the inside as pretty as the cover?
