Wow Bonnie what a great site...nice and easy to navigate and all those wonderful bears!!!
I would love to swap links with you......
Yayyy Denise I'd so glad you got it!!!
Ahhh Bobbie...that is water you can see and yes you are right we are about half way up a hill!! We are very lucky with the spot we live, my husband bought the house (falling down around our ears!! ) off his nana when she became too old to maintain it. Then she continued to live here until she could no longer look after herself. But we are very, very lucky...I'd live here in a tent if I had too!!!
Debbie I have never heard them called Elanora cockatoos, but they are called sulphar crested cockatoos over here...so they must be the same and they are sooo loud, especially at 5 o'clock in the morning. We are really lucky to be able to see these birds in the wild I guess we don't appreciate it enough.
Yes I agree Bonnie I really hope to see Bid 4 Bears do well and I think that as many of us who are able should support it
It seems a shame that ebay don't do their investigation before thay suspend people rather than the other way around...whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"
Unfortunately in the world we live in there are way too many people who would be willing to 'dob' someone in just because they are jealous and if ebay investigated first and then suspended perhaps it would stop innocent people being affected as much...after all 'mud sticks'
Sarah Jane your prices will get there someday, I just know it
Thanks Jodi.... I am just happy to be selling my bears at the moment and am over the moon to have a couple of people who have bought more than one!!
Lisa that is a great idea I didn't know if you were allowed to do that!!
Well the cockatoos achieved their objective which was to get rid of the possum...the poor little thing ended up inside the wall of our house!!! (we are renovating) and my husband had to climb up on the roof with a broom and fish it out!!!
I hate the new system too....but as I have yet to have a bear reach the magic $200 mark I haven't had to worry about it yet!! I am just eternally nosy and love to see the names of the people who can afford such high prices in the hopes of one day seeing one of those same names on one of my bears!!!
Well I for one think shill bidding is just plain wrong...but I didn't know that friends couldn't bid on your auction if they actually wanted to win it...I always thought that shill bidding involved bidding on something to artificially inflate the price while having no intention of purchasing the item.....If a collector becomes a friend and still continues to bid on and buy your bears I certainly don't think that should constitute shill bidding...but does it?
My husband and I purchase items from other areas of ebay through people we have become friends with due to the process of buying from them regularly...surely we are not breaking the rules... :/
I am now officially confused (not that it takes much)..
Well I have been trying to make a bear but I keep getting distracted by the view out our front doors...these two cockatoos are making such a noise you wouldn't believe it!!! They are also harrassing a poor little possum to get out of their tree...
Bobbie I'd love to see pics if its not too much trouble!!
I received two yesterday from Andres m and TaniL thank you both girls!!!
I love all the finishing bits..especially the faces but like most of the others I hate ladder stitching the openings closed....I also hate sewing ears on!!! (or one of them anyway!!)
Hey I think Dream bears sounds perfect too.....
Oh no Sandra what a horrible thing to happen...I think you did exactly the right thing. I think that people like this woman are usually jealous of other peoples success and it makes them feel better is they tear them down. By the way I love the new issue...I only just got it 2 days ago and have already read it from cover to cover.
Is this Bear-Artists-Online you are talking about Mikki?
I stumbled across this yesterday...can't wait to see it all up and going!!!
Laurie thay are great...I'm with Shelli on this one..I love Dino!!!
Well aside from chocolate which has to be the ultimate comfort food...anything warm and gooey smothered in loads of whipped cream is good (and this is NOT meant to be rude!!!! ) e.g. Self saucing pudding!!!
After much drama and a huge learning curve I have finally completed a real fur bear....I made a couple early in the piece but this is the first time I have made one since I have laerned so much about the process of bearmaking....I hope you like her, I think I will list her on ebay tomorrow...
Congratulations Judi...what a wonderful cover picture!!!

Oh I love it    No wonder I panic when it gets quiet round here...
Oh well done!!! I'm so excited for you, I hope I can find a copy here somewhere!!!!
Wendy you are so right ...I couldn't have said it better myself...I am going to give up worrying about a future that may never happen anyway, who knows she may be blissfully happy. Thank you
