Hi Melisa

Thanks everyone!
Becky, you better give it a try anyway. If you are anything like me that idea will keep lurking until you do

Yes, I actually used velvet for the entire bear as her "fur." I found it a bit harder to work with than fur but it did show me where I still need to tweek my pattern.
If you would like to know more about her she is listed on my blog at: http://www.bequestbears.net/2010/09/winifred.html
Thanks for looking!

There is a product called Wonder Under which will allow you to fuse 2 fabrics together. Most fusibles are only "sticky" on 1 side and will only work to give body to 1 fabric, so make sure you look for a double-sided product. I have found Wonder Under at Joann fabrics.
Good Luck

I've relisted my Alzheimer's Association Teddy on eBay through their Giving Works program. The wording of the listing is the same as the first one. And what is different is my start price. It was 99 cents before and had a reserve. I took the reserve off for this one and have a start price of $15.99. I have also expanded my shipping to include some international. It was USA only on the first one. I seem to be getting even less interest this time than the first time. I'm thinking that it's not the wording in the body of the listing that is the problem. (Maybe folks aren't even getting that far?) But that I've chosen unwisely as far as my photo, or pricing, or ???.
I really want this teddy to sell for the Alzheimer's Association. I have no bids so I can still revise if anyone has any ideas. Here's the link so you can take a look: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … :MESELX:IT
Thanks in advance for our help!
Diana
