Louise,I'm sorry that you had to go to the hospital but I'm glad that you're recovering.

Judi- I love seeing your cattle! The cows are the first place I head for at the 4H fair... Pigs are a different story... My oh,so funny cousins thought it would be hysterical to trick me into a pig pen at age 12. I've never run so fast in my life! But I love pork...
Suzanne
Sandy, I am so sorry that you lost Magic. To lose a loved pet is hard enough, but to lose two in a month IS devastating. I hope you are able to feel better soon.
Suzanne
Shari, that is great news and I am very happy for you.
I didn't have a teddy bear as a child.. However, my MIL had this mohair leopard as a child in the 1930's. Now it's my daughter's possession and she loves it!
I hope your dad is OK- my thoughts are with you.
Congratulations, Judi!
I'm so jealous, Penny! I love that bear!
Congratulations, SueAnn and Shelli! Both of your creations are wonderful!
Judi, your bears are awesome and this one is no exception!
Good luck Daphne- these bunnies will be great because they already have personality!
Thanks all. I am having an inadequacy complex at the moment and am scared of trying to sell her. I have had good advice to just go for it so I guess I should get out the camera and snap away.
Hi= Thought I'd post a pic of my bear in the snow, but it really wasn't such a great idea because her wings don't show up. I'll have to take some others because I want to list her for sale.

Jane, Your daughter is like my daughter! She is at college now and I know she wants to dye the hair on one side of her part bright red and on the other side black! Her hair is normally brownish, but has a lot of gold and red highlights in it. She could do anything! but is an art student and has funky tastes.
I am getting used to my hair. My husband LOVES it so that helps my opinion a lot.

Boy Shantell, I hear you! My son is 13 and he's grown so much I will soon be the shortest person in my house ( and I'm not short!)
Heather- I'm not much fun- the practical thought is always the first one that comes to my mind.. I would get the dryer... but i would complain about it a lot!
Suzanne
I'm sorry that your son was hurt, but glad it wasn't more serious. I'm always so afraid of wind storms. I haven't ever thought much about all the people who have to clean up after them until now...

OK- This is a really off topic subject, but have any of you ever totally changed your hair color? I was a blond this morning and now I'm a redhead. I like it but I don't look like me in the mirror yet. Does anyone ever get used to the change? (And how long did it take?
Suzanne
Danni, I just read your e-mail and I want to say how sorry I am that you have had so much trouble. I thought the e-zine was great and I told lots of people that I was on a website in Australia! How could anyone complain? Keep your chin up; you did a GREAT job!

Hi Kim- thanks for the site. I couldn't find an answer to my glue question though-(maybe there isn't one)- Is there a good adhesive for putting glitter or fairy dust on mohair with out making the mohair all hard and stiff?
I can't believe it... Taffy is SOLD! I work part time at a coffee shop and the owner lets me display bears there. I have sold 5 of the bears I had back in Dec. there. Anyway, I took Taffy in yesterday afternoon when I was working and someone came in today that had seen her and wants me to bring her over so that she can buy her! I can't get over this as the other bears I sold had all been sitting around for a while, since I was making them for the craft fair. I guess I'll have to make a new one to try my hand at selling on the internet...

Thank you all for your encouraging words. I am always so gratified to see responses when I post, because I know I'm fairly "quiet" when it comes to posting. I do read most days though. All you lurkers- Take a lesson from me.. Go ahead and post. Everyone is so nice even when they don't know you well!

I finally finished the tie-dyed(batiked) bear I was working on.(Inspired by Marie's avatar!) I used Intercal's 340S/b . She is 11 inches tall sitting- 15 full length but she doesn't stand because she has bent legs. I named her "Taffy" because she reminds me of a box of saltwater taffy. I am thinking of putting her on the Bears for Sale page but I'm not sure I'm ready for that step yet!

Jenny - He is a beauty! My husband call squirrels "rats with good press" because they eat all the birdseed he puts out (HIS hobby) but I enjoy watching them. They are so clever- but we only have the grey ones around here.
SueAnn- your bear is beautiful, especially the face! I love it!
Dilu- He is great! He looks lovestruck, with stars in his eyes!
