Just like to share with you all......a seasonal bear called Merry..!!!

He's 17ins, and is made from a wonderful dense Alpaca/Mohair mix. He is currently on the cover of TBCI

Magazine (Dec issue)......which makes me very proud....and thought you may like to see him.

Jane this is really weird.....I've been pondering this question for the last few days!!!!

It would be so much easier via Visa card direct.......or paypal !!

I also have this problem..not to the degree of some of you, thank goodness.....but I often feel

all at sea, and off balance.I found out a few years ago that I had a thyroid problem

(underactive) and apart from weight gain....the topply feeling was another symptom, so

assumed this was the cause. Although I am much better since taking the medication, I do still

get dizzy!.... So reading this makes me really wonder if maybe there is something, all us

bearmakers are doing to cause this.....mmm.....interesting.....!!!!

Jenny, it was lovely to meet you in person today.....I really enjoyed our chat, and seeing your

fabulous bears in the fur.....although of course by the time I got to your stand, you had very few

left!.....and as you know I was very sorely tempted by the little sweetheart in the blue cardie!!!

(.......but I'm sure he's now sold)!!!

Although I went as a spectator......I thought the fair had a real buzz, and a lovely atmosphere

about it, and most exhibitors where reporting good sales........which was fantastic!

I also met TTers Melanie, Samantha, Chloe, and Christine.....it was really lovely chatting to you

all......I had a great day!!!

Paula, Ellen,.....I am so with you on this topic, wouldn't it be fantastic if there was a fair purely for high

end artist bears, that was free from retailers, bear memorabilia etc. where the bears could shine, and the

collector could be assured of quality work. A museum sounds great....or a gallery. I think venue is very

important, our collectors  are decerning people, who are looking for an enjoyable day out in a pleasent

location..........

Anyway, sadly, it seems Ally Pallys days are numbered for us, as I read in the paper yesterday that it is about

to be sold, and redeveloped, as an upmarket leisure centre!!!!!

I feel really guilty....as all day I had been meaning to come and photograph your stand...and I let you down, shame on me! :redface:

But everyone.... Jane's stand looked amazing, her bears wonderful......her skill in needlefelting just

outstanding........and Packito....absolutely superb  :clap:  :clap:

I personally feel really sad that the organisers, had not made any effort to recognize the winners of

the competition in an award ceremony.......after all, it is a great achievement........and the artists

involved should be honoured, and made to feel special.....it would have been lovely, and in my opinion

added another dimension to the  overall atmosphere of the Show.

Anyway, Jane...your a star...well done!!!!!! and thank you for the photo's
