Hi dear friends!
Honey is the first bear I made this year... I finished him yesterday evening. He was a custom order for a little girl, Freya, for her birthday. I hope she will love him.
He is a 38 cm tall mohair bear. I embroidered a bee on his muzzle (chain stitch). I loom-knitted his hat.
Freya's mom will pick up the bear tomorrow evening. Freya's birthday is tuesday.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi!
You can also browse the bears on the site bearpile.com.
There are lots available there for a wide bunch of great artists.
Good luck,
Sophie.
When chatting with my English neighbours they told me there had some bushfire in Petth. So I began to worry because I know than Wendy (Matilda) lives nearby Perth.
I searched on internet and found that article about the event :
http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/huge-bl … 6003191144
They I looked on a map o sea how far this was from Wendy's home : around 20 km, so she should be okay...
I just hope none of you lives in the area where this fire happened.
I am thinking about all these people who lost their homes...

Carolyn, Martin, Malko and I had a great time together. Time flied too fast though.
Martin and Carolyn had lunch at home and then we had a little walk in the village. The weather was sad. It was cold, wloudy and windy.
We showed them our house because last time we met, we were still living in a flat.
We chatted a lot of course but had no time talking about teddy bears!!!!!
That's Martin and Carolyn in front of the church.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Dear friend,
I want to share with you my excitement.
Carolyn Green (Draffin Bears), from New Zeland, is currently in France with her lovely husband who made her this holiday as a gift for their 25th wedding anniversary. They are now in Saumur, in the Loire Valley and this is 48 km far from my home. Tomorrow they will visit us and I am over excited.
been waiting for her phone call everyday from yesterday, as I new she would call one of these days.
This will be the second time we meet and I still cannot believe life offered us a second opportunity. They come from far far away, you see!
They visited France in july 2007 and we met in Le Mans and sent one day together.
My dear TT friends, remember you will always be welcome here, so never forget to let me know if you go anywhere around my area!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Thanks, dear friends!
Oh, Joanne, I would not tell I am an excellent knitter. I just knitted simple stuff. I am a beginner...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi Claire!
Thanks for the news! Your dogs look lovely. It is nice to read you again.
I am happy to get news about Martin, hehehehehehe.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi you!
Thanks for caring! I was just not very talkative after this hard year I went throught. I kept visiting TT almost everyday though...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I am in awe for your great work...
This little bear is the cuttest little thing!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Beautiful first bear! I look forward to see your next ones.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hehehehehehe, Peter, I did think the same! I will eventually get to make teddy bear clothes with my knitting looms, for sure.
These were just training with human sizes!
Plus teddy bears have fur, not me and I needed to keep myself warm first...
You should not forget teddy bears always get the accessories and clothes they ask for. I must wait for a bear to beg for knitted clothes.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi Peter!
Thanks for your fast answer!
Teddy bear making will never leave my life, as long as I am still able to make them. I will just make less as long as there will be more important things to focus on...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
