Shelli, the swap I participated in this year, was for ornaments. Each swapper sent 4 ornaments to one person, The "organizer".   When all were recieved, she randomly placed 4 oraments, so each person got 4 from someone else. We sent $5 cash to the organizer, and she volunteered her time and tape, and used free postal service boxes. It worked out really well, and this way no one was shorted. It was a lot of work for her, but we sent goodies to her.......I sent an extra ornie for her. Pam

Deb, so  a toner black and white canon is $300?? ok.......... Lisa, those sheets sounds easy.......what texture is the fabric? And have you aged them after printing them?? If so what did you use?? Pam

Kingfisher Farm Teddies

Deb how much do they cost?? I'm afraid to look! Pam

Kingfisher Farm Teddies

Deb, I was told my HP ink would fade,I do spray a sealer on it, but the inks that come in HP cartridges is known for fading in the sun or out of it. I heard that Canon printers are used by pro photo shops using quality paper, and images last, I have never tried one. Toner copies versus inkjet..........toner used by pro shops is fade resistant, inkjet.........like my hp........not so good...........Pam

Sandy I live in the Decatur area, very hard hit! 3 yrs ago on Thanksgiving of all days, I was about to put the potatoes on to boil, and POOF! out went our power. We were out then several days. My husband had a belly full of that, so he bought a generator. 3 yrs later it came in handy!! We lost a lot of old fruit trees. I am going to miss the heirloom apple tree that had little yellow and red apples.....sigh........We have a gas stove, but no gas water heater, but we are rethinking that!!! It came at a bad time, since I had just updated my website to coincide with the article about me in Teddy Bear and Friends. Luckily I was able to use a yahoo mail account to contact people; next time I need to learn how to access email offsite. I missed our internet most of all! We had no serious damage, but the trees will be gone forever.........but I plan on planting a new apple tree, and a cherry........I had to go to the Y to take showers. But we are warm and connected now. Pam www.kingfisherfarm.net
