Hi there,

Paula, Thank you Paula!  I can't quite believe it either but I have made the mistake this time of making about fifteen bears at the same time over a period of some weeks, (actually some months!!!) so it has meant that they all needed finishing together so this week I have been working like mad and haven't had much sleep at all as I have been working on them from between fifteen and eighteen hours each day.  I still have the labels to do though and pricing etc. as well as finalising my table set up.  I keep thinking of silly things that I have to do and they just all add up don't they!  Taking the preview photos this morning was a quick episode in the garden which I don't usually do but it made a nice change in the fresh air!

I will probably fall asleep under my table on Sunday, along with everyone else!  See you then!

Yay!!  Isn't it a lovely feeling when you have finally finished your last bear!! :dance:  :dance:  :dance:  :dance:  :dance:  :dance:  :dance:   I keep looking at things I want to change though!  Anyway, I have just popped a few photos onto the Preview section of my website so please have a little peek if you have the time, I know many of you are SO busy right now.  I have included a little photo of Kingston here who will also be coming to Stratford.

Hi everyone!!

Well, I really don't know where the time is rushing to, but I have actually finished one little bear for Stratford!!  Yay!  Mmmm, no comment!  Anyway, here is little Twinkle who is a small bear for me, around 12 inches or so.  Her new brothers and sisters are yet to receive their eyes   and neckwear so hopefully some of them will be on my website on Friday!! 

Not a good picture as it doesn't  show much really but I just had to prove that I had been doing SOME work!!

Can't wait until Sunday to meet everyone and see your wonderful bears!  Take care.

Yes, I have been wondering about going the credit card way, and worrying about it!  But after reading comments here, it would seem that there is no need to worry and just carry on with normal cash and cheques.

I'm pleased to know I'm not the only one freaking out!!!     I haven't finished even one new bear yet!!!!!!   Hopefully I will get one finished today!  I made the fatal mistake of making quite a few bears all at the same time which isn't a pleasant prospect when you realise that you have sixty seams to sew up, twenty-four horrible ears to put on and then .......  noses!!!!!!!  aaarrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!     My tum is turning over every time I think about the show but it will be a lovely day and nerves will end as soon as I walk through the door (hopefully!)

I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and putting a face to all the names.  You will be able to recognise me instantly as I will be the one with a bag over my head!!!!!!!  :redface:  Ha!

Hi,
This is probably a silly suggestion but it may just work.  I have succeeded in the past to get rid of a cat by using a playful approach.  Not many cats can resist something fluffy on the end of a piece of string so you could use this to "play" the cat out of its current position.  It may then become less frightened by events and wander to where you want it to go without realising it!

It's worth a go while you are waiting!  a bit more enjoyable too!

Ah, the good old days!!!!!!!!!  I can remember my Mum and Dad even saying that about "their" childhood!!

But yes, that era was pretty good as far as enjoying yourself as a child was concerned.  You could actually escape into your own little world and use your imagination to fuel your enjoyment and live-out your dreams.  I really do feel so sorry for children these days but then, they don't know any different because they have been born into a world of electrical gadgets and wizardry that take away a lot of having to use your imagination.  It's the older generation that is ruining it for them will all the scare-mongering and rules and regulations.  We think we are protecting, but instead we are suffocating.  I think people are generally more hostile these days too compared to "back then". 

I remember "flower power" and think we should bring it all back - properly!  A lovely time!      It makes you wonder what such things will be like in another twenty years time. 

Well, this has really got me being all nostalgic now so I think I will go and put on some CDs of good old 60s and 70s hits!

There is nothing more annoying usually than music disturbing your thoughts as you venture through a website!  Sometimes, it comes on SO loud when you are not expecting it and sends me into a panic to get to the mute button!  I went onto one website that had a moving background which I think was meant to represent the "stars at night" moving around and I really felt quite sick after a while and had to leave!

But, there is always an exception - I know of one very tasteful website that has Stevie Nicks - Fleetwood Mac playing, and I often go there just to listen to the song and turn my volume up nice and loud!  Mmm,  maybe I will just pay it a visit .......
