My favourite bear Molly may was adopted along with a few of her friends today at the Pudsey fair.
I have just added "Riot" a rainbow dyed bear to my preview page he was to be taken to the fair tomorrow at Pudsey, untill he was adopted.
Pudsey is the nearest fair to my home I could walk there in 10
minuets! but I had better drive as I would never be able to carry all the
bags!

A little panda adopted at Hugglets,
I was sewing his foot pads in on the journey down to London and nut I bolt jointed him in the car, I managed to fill and finish him when we arrived at the hotel and had half an hour to change and do my make up before we went out to dinner the night before the show.

Just a big thank you to all who sent best wishes for a speedy recovery of our twin granddaughters.
I am so pleased to let you know they are now reunited at home together.
Naomi had the long line for her antibiotics removed on Monday morning and came home yesterday lunch time, she seems fine and is as big as Jasmine now. They are both fine. we spent the day with them both. we are so relieved.
thanks again.
hugs Kerren
Last Thursday evening Adele and Jasmine were discharged from hospital, unfortunately Naomi had to stay in hospital, the results from the meningitis tests came back, they didn't know if it had been meningitis or not. But her red blood cells were still fighting something, so they were keeping her on the antibiotics and treating it as if it were meningitis.
It has been a tough week, hopefully the antibiotics will stop on Sunday (three weeks after birth) and then they will monitor her for 48 hours after that and then she may be allowed home on Tuesday.
Poor Adele had to leave Naomi in hospital and go home, she manages to get in to hospital every day with help from one of us carrying Jasmine. Adele isn’t allowed to carry her as she tore her stomach muscles and needs physiotherapy. James goes in after work for a couple of hours and then they have to go home and leave little Naomi there.
Hugs Kerren
Thanks!

Bonds is in walking distance from my house, in fact you can see my house from bonds, just over the rooftop of the dentist! i buy all my bits and bobs from Bonds.
Do come and say hello at the next Pudsey fair,

but when you think of it the ty beanies were enormously collectable a few years ago. Folk were going mad over them. They were collectable, but nothing like owning a one of a kind artist bear. But some people like lots of little trinkets rather than one ore two quality items. I have seen at some of the fairs, that collector would buy a bear for its price and not the quality of workmanship. You ask your self why? Do they feel they are getting a bargain? Or is it the fact they don’t sew, so they don’t see if it is well made or poor quality? i really don't know.
hugs Kerren
it is bad enough driving to the bear fairs with one girl and that is not more than two hours usually!
All the best Kerren
I exhibited at Ally Pally when it was a two-day fair; the first year I had nine bears adopted the year after about six bears. But when it went to a one day fair I gave it a go and didn’t have a lot of joy. It seemed to have lost its sparkle it was in a different room, very dark and cold. Before it was in a lovely big room with a glass roof I think? I decided then not to go again. Although I really did enjoy the fair.

I have just received my January copy of Teddy Bear Scene and on page 30 there is a write up by Jo Rothery about the Pudsey fair, with a big picture of me holding Chip! Also lots of photos taken at the fair it is really good!
It has come out really well, thanks Jo!
Hugs Kerren
this photo is of chip so you can see what he looks like!
The picture is from last Wednesday before Naomi went to special care.
Adele was able to take me up to the special baby ward to see Naomi this evening, I was even allowed to hold her. She looks well and didn't seem to be any the worse for her ordeal.
The midwife/nurse who came to see Jasmine and take her temperature said hope fully they will all be able to be reunited on a transitional ward by the weekend.
So if that happens it will be good news!
Best wishes Kerren
Thank you all so much, you don't know how much it means to me to read your encouraging messages of support I really appreciate everything,
hugs Kerren
