Thanks Tami,
I think these are lemurs? What strange creatures. I wonder what the reason was for the bright orange eyes? You'd think they would be at a disadvantage in the wilds?

Please give Cleo some extra rations! She looks so thin after the puppies, you can count every vertebrae. Congratulations, Cleo! Beautiful puppies!

Daphne,
My first available dog will be a "Wheaton". I've listened to everyone about breeds and looking at my mixed breed (he is part Wheaton) I realized that I could try again and this time it will be a purebreed Wheaton.
Karen
Ginny, Debbie, Lyn, Chrissi, Marlys, everyone,
THANKS so much for helping me understand. I realize I have to think about breeds, but there is the possibility of going beyond just specific breeds of dogs to appeal to dog people. I'm going to try.
Karen
O.K.,
I've been working on a realistic dog. I know cats are my style, but I love all animals and I've had beloved dogs so I am working on a very realistic dog (a friend's dog that I love). Is it true that dog people will only collect their breed of dog? I've heard this from other artists. I am working on a very handsome mixed breed dog of excellent character. This is one reason I have concentrated on my cats. Cat people will collect all kinds of cats. Their character is more important than their breed. If I have to create dogs in just a few breeds I think that will be the end of my dog designs Is this the only way to create dogs?
Karen
Krista,
You have my vote! I once had a walking tour vacation of Maui, Hawaii, just Paradise! But right now I'm aiming for the Northwest, Seattle or Portland. I've vacationed there for many years (6) and now I'm trying to get myself out there to live. Hopefully, this year! Love the ocean, islands and great art/craft community.
Karen
Love your new website!
Professional and easy to navigate. BUT you guys have to get a new photo! You look MUCH better in person than in that photo!
Karen
So Young and so Dumb! But sweet

Last night I was scaring the heck out of myself trying to cook a 3 lb. Black Sea Bass I thought how SPECIAL when a friend gave it to me
I'll make one of those elegant Asian whole fish dishes! You know; you have to clean those things!! I had a book on one side of me with scary clinical dissection diagrams and the fish on the other side. I covered the fish's head with a blindfold because I didn't want to see his eyes
and I tried to clean the fish without looking at him. By the time I was done I was so upset I could barely eat. Today I'm sticking to coloring Easter eggs and green salad!
Karen
P.S. Cats loved the fish
Just woke up to an inch of Easter snow! So it's way down here in Connecticut, too! I also have never seen cold Spring weather like this and snow this late
Karen
P.S. Good thing I have three real cats to keep me warm Wish they could pay the heating bills!
:photo:   Well, Jodi....
Apparently not Since I think just about everyone I talk to about Las Vegas reminds me of my Vegas past! I think they just tell you that so you'll do something stupid. Wait, I never heard that before I did something stuPid?! But wait, it really wasn't stupid just a misinterpreted experiment!
Karen
Hmmm? Guys?
Was it the time the security guard pulled me through a door or was it the time when I made everyone run down the hall right after the Awards Ceremony (women in dresses and high heels) because I made a mistake that security misinterpreted and they came after us (ok after me but I wasn't about to run alone!)? Besides we got away
Really, everyone, we had fun! THe Security guards are pretty slow.
Karen
I think it must be :photo:
CONGRATULATIONS cover guys
Jodi,
I just listed a kitten on ebay about a half hour ago and it showed up in minutes. I use the old form. I don't know what they're doing with the new form!
Karen
 Absolutely amazing! A work of art. Please, keep creating your bears and those eyes. The world needs to see beautiful, unique creations like this bear.

I keep contact and notes in my Mozilla Address Book (I regularly print this out. I'm still nervous about computer crashes although, supposedly, Mozilla has a copy offsite.). I like to keep everything in one spot so if the person contacts me I can instantly pull up their name and records. I also have my sales file (paper receipts) for record purposes. And I keep a design file with copies of my "Certificates" including a photo of each piece. Lately I have had to put up a board where I keep records of my limited edition series and who buys each piece. And I've started an ebay file listing collector's ebay names and a list of cat/kitten names I have used so I don't duplicate it's hard coming up with new names and not duplicating. It goes on
.......Folders for each shop, future shows, magazines where I advertise, but the above are records for individual customers. I'm exhausted just thinking about it all!
Karen
Kimberly,
I thought you might be doing the Disney/ Epcot Doll and Teddy bear show. It's in mid-May. That sculpture would go for a very nice price at that show!
Karen
Kimberly,
Wonderful! Sculpture! Which show are you speaking of?
Karen
Jared,
Really professional! Have you thought of going on the lecture circuit? Boy, could the teddy bear world use a spokesman like you.
Karen
P.S. Kids are the toughest audience and you seemed to get their attention.
Dilu and Chrissi,
Never under estimate gross incompetence in production and greed!
Karen
Latest I've heard from NPR radio is that the Wheat Gluten with the poison came from China. The rat poison that is the culprit is illegal (as rat poison) in the U.S.. Who knows, the rat poison could have been used around the Wheat or was used in the ship or got mixed in accidentally? How could we check these shipments from China and why in the heck are we importing Wheat Gluten from China? And how many other foods are using this imported Wheat Gluten, including human foods?
Dilu,
We don't think of this because we live in a world where most people are of different handedness than us. But I think we do confuse righty's sometimes. Have you ever noticed what happens when we try to pass a right-handed person on the street? We almost always go the opposite way around them and it ends up being a little dance And with sports! Forget it! In grade school I had to use a right-handed mitt and just threw it off when I had to throw the ball
MAny times things we do just look odd to right-handed people
Karen
P.S. Left-handed women are even rarer than left-handed men.
I'm a real lefty so I cut/slant forward and to the left. Because I do this while the body is inside-out, when I turn it, the head slant is on the right. Works for all you righties out there. But there are other lefty things I have to be careful of, like how a character holds and object or even how a bear holds a kitten. My instinct is to do it "lefty" and I know that confuses some people
Karen
Oh great?! The red persian in the small jpeg is slanted left! Heck, I don't know what I do
Jodi,
You are funny. Yes, that's exactly what he did after coming back in. On his back all spread out on my bed! Asking me "Where's the Guinness??"
Karen
ENGAGED, How exciting! A new life story has begun I'll miss your weather reports from Malaysia!
