For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Add in the exchange rate to get NZ$ (and with a bit of variation for the fiddly stuff) and I think $10 per inch is pretty spot on - thanks Eileen

Hi Tania - fellow kiwi!!
Amanda is right just go for it! Being a trader at a Bear Show is a great way to start as you get heaps of feedback from people.....the biggest dilemma though is pricing.

It was fun but they don't sell , for me, as well as my mohair or alpaca bears and koalas

Gina - Maybe it is the "mouse" that attracts your cats to your computer
I wish my first bear had turned out that good.
Actually wouldn't that be a good idea for a thread a photo of your first ever bear beside a photo of your most recent bear.
Mel
Whew!! ;)
Shari what about using the slogan true works of heart as your name "True Works of Heart Bears" and Tammy - "Bearkoning Bears"???

I think I have been lucky with my name New Bearland (which is a play on New Zealand). When I first came up with it I thought for sure someone else would be using it but luckily no one was. I suppose the fact that there are only 4 million of us Kiwis helps.....now this is where I have my fingers crossed and hope someone doesn't submit a post saying "sorry to tell you this Melanie but there is another New Bearland out there"

Here I am. Melissa has made me sound very voyeuristic , but in reality I was just trying to get my avatar to work (it is still a bit blurry!!) and to write an introduction - which I still haven’t done . I promise some pictures.....once I figure out how to get a better avatar
