"Wild Thyme" comes from my favorite Shakespeare verse....
"I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk roses and with eglantine;
There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,
Lull'd in these flowers with dances and delight;"
I had a children's picture book of Shakespeare when I was a little girl, and this description of a fairy's bed was just sounded SO beautiful to me. Every time I heard that verse, I just want to GO there! I still do!

I've got my little ones convinced that I have Santa's number programed into my cell phone. When they act up in the back of the van, I always point my camera phone right at them and threaten to send photos to the man in red!!!!

Oh God Shel! That building is GORGEOUS!!!!! My husband's law office is in a building that was built in the late 1800's as well, and he just LOVES it! He's above a coffee shop/bakery though! I'd much prefer a chocolate connection! Do ya think that they might ask you to maybe do some taste-testing sometime!? Seriously though.... just gorgeous!

Hey... that's just what I was gonna say Aleta! My hubs has his law office in an extremely "artsy" area of Cleveland that is also home to many university/art school students. I know I see ads all the time in the local paper for rooms for rent for studio use. Also co-op art studios that are housed in the old warehouses. Might be worth looking into, as from what I remember the rates were quite reasonable.

Heather!!!! YOU look absolutely beautiful too! And Kail, of course, is just adorable!
Ya did good woman!

Let this situation completely leave your mind Bobbie. I've had things like this too... messages in my eBay box asking why I haven't paid for my big screen TV, etc.... The scary thing is that they really aren't expecting you to pay for the non existant TV or ship the supposed "item" (as they are requesting in your case.) Generally, something in their message is "clickable" and when you click there it takes you to an eBay or Pay Pal sign in screen. Of course, it's not REALLY from that company and when you do sign in they have your password, and access to whatever information you have stored in your account. My suggestion... NEVER click on anything in one of these weird eMails. If you do, and you see that the address comes up starting with http rather than https... you KNOW it's a total scam.
Just to be on the safe side, I'd change your eBay password ...
MEANIES!!!!

Hi Catherine... awwww... that's sweet! Get it, sweet!
Seriously, I think that it happens to all of us all the time, even when we are completely unaware of it! After all, we ALL live in this same world... we are bound to ocassionally be inspired by the same things from time to time!
I made a mini named Mocha several years ago with a little handmade polymer coffee bean around his neck... obviously inspired ny by own supreme addiction to everything cafinated.... only to find that a major company had just come out with their own line of coffee inspired bears. I'm sure had I "Googled" it, I would have found those bears as well as a number of artist bears going back for years who had the same inspiration. But ya know... he was MY Mocha. No nefarious "copying" had taken place in any direction. We ALL love yummy things!

Though i know I've seen it before... I REALLY think that a article on "bear decor," would be both timely and interesting for artists and collectors alike. I chat with a bunch of my long-term collectors and many of them say, "I'm running out of space for bears"... "I have a whole bookcase full of them".... "I don't want to become a 50 year old going on 12 with a whole bed full of teddy bears".... things like that. I think that folks like that might really appreciate a series of nice photos of how you can incorporate bears into your home without looking like you live in a carnival game booth! No offense at all to anyone who does display their bears that way! I'm not a teddy collector myself (at least not YET!) but I can't imagine that 4 neat rows of 80 little eyes really shows off the bears to their best advantage, or allows the collector to really appreciate the unique character of each one. I think people just run out of ideas as far as what to actually DO with them once they are acquired. I LOVE the way Aleta (and some others) show their bears on a hutch with a few other coordinating do-dads, etc... Nice and "artfully arranged." I'm a total moron
when it comes to that kind of stuff, and I just love seeing pics of people who know what they are doing when it comes to that kind of stuff... it's inspiring! So though I know I've seen articles with pictures of huge collections, I think it would be nice to see an article with photos of "artfully arranged" bears. I think it might encourage some of those folks who have a big ol' pile of bears and can't find room for more, to arrange them in a way that is not only more pleasing to the eye, but also allows more bears to enter the hug!

That sounds SOOOOOO lovely Shantell!!!! Wish I was there! This morning I looked out MY window and saw an
bird across the street! I didn't know what it was, so I screamed to my husband... "Oh my God I think there's an ostrich across the street!" It was the first big bird I could think of!
It was just a wild turkey! Not nearly as beautiful as deer... we have a lot of deer here too. They are so graceful!

Wow... that's crazy when you think about it!
I was telling my kids the other day that once when I was about 10, I was at the park at this 12 year old boy tried to kiss me... (just kid stuff, NOT a violent attack or anything!) Anyway, I threw my Walkman at him to get him away from me. It hit him in the head, and the poor thing actually had to have three stitches to close up his forehead.....
And my kids are like, what's a Walkman? Then when I explained that I played cassette tapes in it, and I told them how BIG it was... they just burst out laughing! Their little credit card sized iPods could NEVER be used as a weapon if need be.

She's absolutely beautiful Christine! And.... Happy belated B-Day to you!
