I use a lot of hot chilies in my cooking too and I know what you mean. They always say wear rubber gloves but I don't. I have rubbed my eye after chopping them though...ouch.
My great aunt was blind and she cooked, washed dishes, cleaned her home and did everything for herself. I remember thinking she was going to cut her fingers off but the last time I saw her was for her 75th anniversary! Oh, yes, she also had glass eyes and the kids were always wanting her to take them out...KIDS!
That is a beauty! I love the lops and would never want the ears standing up!
He is beautiful, best of luck...
I came back to look again and I am just totally amazed. Really amazed!!!!
A patchwork bear sounds great...can't wait to see it!
How on earth do you get such detail on such a little bear. I just love him to pieces....
I don't see a picture Jessie! RB is missing...
Thank you...I'm headed to the kitchen to do my washing....
That was wonderful danger bears...just what I needed!
I think a sponge would "ball" up the felt. The bears are clean it is just their felt coat and hat.
Good idea Jessie...Arcto needs a little umbrella so he won't get wet!
I have two Paddinhgton Bears. One is a big, maybe 23 inch bear the other is a 13 inch bear. They both have blue felt coats and a yellow felt hat. The small one has red boots. My question is, how do I wash the felt coats and hats? They really need it!
I searched all over my house the other day for my cell phone...my hubby finally called it and it was in my pocket!
Talk about a senior moment...
What a cool bear. I really like Rafferty!
CRCrafts has music boxes with the head moving arm...
Lookin good!
Yes Becky...I've been trying to pin the ear in place. I am going to try it your way next time!
Jocko is a monkey who plays cymbals....ha ha ha
Benny is just wonderful. I love the way you did his body. His arms and legs fit so perfectly and don't have the big humps so many have at the joint. Great job!
Becky, I have tried and tried that but I always wind up with the pins in me and not in the bear head when I start to sew! How do you keep them in?
WOW, what a challenge! I can't wait to see that bear...
Yes, he loves hugs! His beard is getting a few grey hairs too but don't tell him. He thinks he's still young!
