Hi Jenny,
Wow you work 12.5hors a day !? that is allot !!
I work full-time(in office and sitting all day....).
Right now I have very high motivation(because before the contest) and here is my weekday schedule...
5:30-6:30am..bear making
7:30am..go to work
7:00pm..come back from work
9:00pm-11pm..bear making
=======-- total only 3hours for bear --==============
For Weekend, I do bear making much as possible... :P
but I can't do this busy schedule for long time... :/
How about everyone else ? I know we talk about this before
but how is everyone's motivation for today ?

Yes, I would love to know that too. :)
My dream is go to overseas show , USA and UK . I wish I can go to German too...
but I though I have to be rich(which I'm not....)or save $$  for the show.....
I saw many of overseas Artist at show in Japan..such as USA Artist , German Artist, Korea
Artist and more from other country. I never had chance to talk to them in person(I was shy and I didn't want to bother them....)

I really love to meet some of you ( YOU out THERE !) in at least next 5 years....

Oh, I hope Louise will feel better soon and her Doctor will find out what is going on..... I really miss Louise but I can wait.

this is  good questions♪ I love to know how everyone else started too .
Ok, for my case....
1.I think I have so many reason why I started bear making but this was one of my motive... Back in FEB2002, me and my husband travel to OKINAWA,  (sorry this is not fun story...)we visited one gift shop on last day of our trip and I found the beautiful purple bear in store. but  I didn't have enough cash  with me and the store didn't take a credit card ..so I could not buy it...... then we were going to miss our plane so we had to leave the store. At now I think I should at least reserve the bear or ask if I can !!   After I came back to home I call
the store and ask if I can order by phone and the lady in the store said yes but the purple bear was last one in store and they couldn't order anymore...
After few month passed and I decide to make my own bear .
I didn't know where to started but one of my very crafty talented friend ask me to make a KIT bear together.
The KIT bear was designed for beginner  but it was very hard for me and I ask so many question to my friend . If I had no one to ask questions I think I didn't finish the bear ...... However...
Since then I am very addicted of making bears and never stoped. ;)

2. For my first bear, it took me 2month !! (1-2hours per day)

3. Hmmmm I get my ideas from my brain.
I bring small memo pad and color pencil with me all the time
and write a design if I came up with some thing. :D
I get my ideas when I'm riding train, walking street,    sleeping and when I 'm taking bath...I think I am very bear addiction person and my idea coming from anywhere...  hehe

4. No I don't have any of Artist bears yet but
   I would love to collect them!!

Shelli I believe you !   I am using oil paint now ! :lol:
It's so easy to apply on bears and hard to make mistakes.(if I  compare to copic maker but no offence to copic !) I don't have any picture to show it to you but I did use oil paint for my bear in avatar.
I painted allot but hard to see on this picture.

Marion, I am so sorry to hear about your mother.
I know god must have reason for everything and
you mom is staying at peaceful place now but
loosing your close one, specially your mom must be
