The 'bad judgment' one is unbelieveable - the person must have kept going even when they felt and heard the roof coming off, as it is quite a way in!!!!!!  he he he!!!

I've also just received an email to say my little bear Benjamin has won the miniature bear cateory of the readers choice awards.  I am so thrilled!!!!
I've just arrived home having found out that I have lost my job. bear_sad   I am so disappointed as it is the first job that I have actually enjoyed since graduating.  I am self-employed as a sign language interpreter, so my job always depends on other people, and the deaf student I have been working with has decided to quit her course - which leaves me with no job!!
This news about the readers choice has certainly cheered me up and put me in a more positive frame of mind!!!  Thank you to everyone who voted, and congratulations to the other winners!!

Here is Benjamin for those of you who haven't seen him:

Hi!  Hopefully I can help!!

When you have completed your listing with your one picture, you then press 'submit'.

Your listing will then be published to Teddy Talk.  People will be able to see your listing at this point.

However, you go to your listing straightaway and press 'edit' (appears in the bottom right-hand corner of your post I think).

You then have a chance to edit your post.

The button 'Img Upload' will now be available.

Leave everything as it is, simply use the 'Img Upload' button to add more pictures as you would in other posts.

Hopefully this will work!!

Wow!  What a beautiful place.  I've never been to Whitby - I might have to suggest to my hubby that we take a trip there sometime.  Thanks for sharing!!!

Hi everyone,

I am a bit stuck.  I need the magazine adverts sorted for the Teddy Bear Artist Event that I am organising, and I just do not have the technical knowledge.  The person I was hoping would be able to help with them is unfortunately unable to do so.
I have desinged what I would like them to look like using powerpoint.  I just need someone with the technical know-how and software to produce them in a format that can be used for adverts in the magazines and for printed flyers and posters.
I can pay for the person's time, although as it is a charity event, I would appreciate it if someone could do it for a special price.  I am also needing them all fairly quickly.

I know I am asking a lot, but I would really appreciate it if anyone is able to do this sort of thing, or knows someone who can.  There are so many clever and talented people on here.  Please help!!!!!

Please feel free to email me, or PM if you may be able to help but need to know more!!  Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you all know that the Pary Bears Shop in Bath here in the UK is holding a Pink Party and artist signing event on Sunday 30th September at a The Francis Hotel in Bath.  I will be there with a small selection of bears, as will Christine Pike, Sue Quinn, and Linda Willetts.  Kathy Martin (editor of Teddy Bear Scene) will be there signing her new book.  There will also be some fundraising activities to raise money for Cancer Research.  Entry is free, and I have a few tickets in my possession to give out to anyone who would like to come along.  Please feel free to PM me if you would like any tickets.  See the party bears website for more details: www.partybears-bath.co.uk  Hopefully we may see a few of you there!!!!

They are all wonderful!!  I'm quite surprised to see that they are all so different - although I should have remembered what a creative lot you are here on TT!!!! bear_tongue
I have kept meaning to make my little clown for the challenge, but with one thing and another, he has never got any further that being an image inside my head!!! bear_grin There is still time before the end of September though - you never know, miracles may happen!!!!

samanthapotter

Everything is moving along nicely.  We have got some FAB artists signed-up already!!! (including quite a few TTers!!) I have begun updating the exhibitor list on the website, so take a look if you are interested to see who is going to be there - www.teddybearartistevent.co.uk  Over half the stalls have been spoken for at this moment, and the replies are still coming in thick and fast!!!
I am almost at the end of my list of people to invite - if anyone out there would like to be considered for a stall, please fill in the online form, or contact me personally.
It has been really refreshing to see that people are ready and willing to try something new.  A lot of people seem excited to try one of the new stall set-ups, and it will be fun to see what people make of their stalls on the day.  I must admit I am feeling rather excited about it all.  The first event will definitely be a case of 'see what happens', but if we don't try, we will never know!! bear_thumb

samanthapotter

The enthusiasm is fantastic already!!!
I haven't even finished inviting everyone yet - I'm trying to do it a few at a time so as not to get confused with too many people contacting me at once!!!!  We have a few TTers signed up!!!  Thanks for all your enthusiasm and support ladies - it certainly makes me feel like all the hard work is worth it!!! bear_flower
