I haven't even started yet, mainly because of the problems my gran is having - and also because we're moving at the moment. Plus, I have about 5 unfinished ones that are awaiting their eyes and stuff like that..so I probably should finish them first, shouldn't I?
I have not started making mine yet either, I'm still trying to come up with ideas for the pattern. I think I know what I want to do...

I managed to get a copy, thank you to Linda from Benson Bears . The book is great, better then what I thought it would be... I'm already trying some of the techniques in the book. I would definitely recommend it if anyone is not too sure whether it will be helpful or not. It is a shame the price it sells for though.
Ok So with this four seasons do we have to incorporate all the seasons into one design or pick our favourite season?

It has been awhile since I last posted, Me an My partner have been living with friends for 4months while our land lord renovated. The house looks fantastic!!!
Anyway I am now back and researching I have been trying to find a copy of Nancy Tillberg's: 101 bears to make but can't seem to find a copy of it anywhere. Does anyone know anywhere I can get a copy of this?

MY boyfriend bought me a two year subscription to one of our bear magazines he in Australia. He already new I loved them and I have been buying them on and off for years now. Sometimes it nice just to sit down and flip throught pages and not have to worry about trying to remember what site and where I've saved things.
Thank you Ali, I agree he needs bigger eyes but I guess I didn't realize until near then. I have already started making notes on bettering the design. and the eyes are definitely something that will change. I think the fur is too long which made it quite difficult to work with. it makes him look alot bigger then what he really is.

Hello all
Ok This is my first designed bear, Prototype. - thats all he is. I was experimenting with a design and although I'm not too thrilled with it I can see that there is room for improvement and in the future I will tweek and perfect this design.
Prototype is small to medium height (I will do a proper measure soon). He is made of a orange tipped yellow synthetic faux fur, black embroidered nose and black glass eyes. His joints are sewn on (except the head). As a prototype he doesn't need proper joints - how ever my next one will. He has a scissor sculpted muzzle- I don't think I did too bad for a first attempt ( I could Have done worse )
He has a a split muzzle, kind of makes him look a bit emo. 
He is not quite finished I need to figure out the perfect finish for him so I might have to come back to him when I have some more experience. Usually I would just add a bow but I think there is more to him then that. Maybe some face felting? or some shading? or ... I dunno So I think I will return to him in the future.
I hope you all like and I would appreciate some professional criticism.

It was my 23rd birthday yesterday (Aus Time) and My beautiful partner got me a two year subscription to Australian Dolls Bears and Collectibles. I feel so special. I had been thinking about getting it myself. I don't really do the patterns in them but I love reading the articles and checking out other artists creations.
My brother got me a a pink tool kit (I asked for), I thought it would be good for teddy bear making and my boyfriend won't touch it because its too girlie 
so in theory I shouldn't loose any parts. well thats the idea.

I was just wondering if anyone has a good pin cushion design? My internet is slow at the moment so I have not been able to go back through all the posts to see if anyone has one on here. If someone could assist me that would be great. I hate leaving my pins all over my desk and would like to have a speacial one that I have made.
