OK, I'm hooked. Can't wait for part 3.
I LOVE your new website, Roxy. The colors are delicious and the theme suits your bears perfectly. I'll add you to my links page. Here's mine: http://www.swanvalleybears.com
If you use blogger/blogspot, you can add it as an element. Go to "add page element" and choose slideshow. Then you just choose your flickr account.
Thanks everyone. Chrissi, I put you on my blog. . . thanks !
Thanks, everyone. Jane, I pm'd you about Skype.
The technology is amazing. The shunt will go to the side of his eye towards the back. It can stay in forever. 25 years ago, Sullivan would probably have been blind from this.
He'll probably need glasses later due to nearsightedness. (Remember that cute little boy in Jerry McGuire?) Tracy got him a pair of sunglasses (Baby Bans) as the eyedrops make his eyes sensitive to the sun. He looks so coooooool in them and doesn't mind wearing them.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Oh yeah, I'm a proud Nana.
I just arrived home after spending one month with my daughter in Tennessee. Her baby, Sullivan, has had two surgeries for infant glaucoma. He had his second surgery just after I arrived there. Since then, the pressure in his eyes has been better but it's still slightly elevated in his left eye so he will have another surgery on May 15th and have a shunt inserted to relieve the eye pressure.
I think my visit was a big help to her and I was so happy to spend a month with Sullivan. I lent my emotional support and I did house work, cooked dinner, etc. And that baby, he is such a happy little guy, full of smiles and giggles. He grew leaps and bounds while I was there. It was so hard for me to leave him.
My new computer was delivered a few days after I left. As soon as I got home I set it up, bought a webcam and signed up for Skype.
While I was there, I had time to work on my blog. If anyone would like to exchange blog links with me, let me know.
Here's my little babe:
Me and the babe:
Congratulations, Claire ! ! ! What a beautiful boy. I can't wait to see more pictures of him. Now, go get some sleep.
Hi Krista . . . I'm not kidding, this stuff will work.
I just got old grease spots off of my daughter's carpet with stuff called Spot Shot. I comes in an aerosol spray can and I got it at Target.
I used it when my other daughter was moving and we were cleaning the home. It got spots off of the carpet I thought would never come out.
I'm not kidding, just spray it on and dab it with a cloth. That's it, the spot is gone. I know I sound like a commercial, but this stuff works.
Be sure to test it on your carpet first to make sure it won't change the color.
I hope you get some, I'll be watching to see if your ink stains come out.
I love to garden too, but sadly, the community we've lived in for the last 4 years is overflowing with deer, who eat everything ! ! !
I love sewing home dec stuff. I just finished making lined drapes for my grandson's nursery and roman shades for my daughter's kitchen windows. I'm also making a custom diaper bag for her. A pocket for everything she needs.
I like to crochet and embroider too.
FABULOUS ! ! ! They look like they have that "twin connection".
I have a Janome computerized Memory Craft 4800 but for sewing my bears I use a 1950's apple green Singer portable (it weighs a ton, it's not a featherweight). I bought it at a yard sale for $10, brought it home and it works like a charm. I love it for sewing my bears ! ! ! I bought a manual for it on the internet.
I use the Janome for home dec, quilting, clothes etc sewing and I love it for those things.
If I get anything in my regular email from Ebay, I always go straight to Ebay and check my mail there. If it's not there, it's a scam.

Having dogs, I totally get the dog thing. I knew there was a reason I didn't have a cat. I guess I'm drawn to the optimists in life.
I was just wondering the other day about you. Hmmm, what's up with Sonya and hoping I'd see you at the show. Well, I won't see you there because I won't be there. Be sure and look up the hubster. He'll be manning my table. I had to make a trip to Nashville to help out my daughter, who's 3 month old son is having his second eye surgery this week. (You might have seen the bearhugs thread about little Sullivan).
Have a blast at the show. I can't wait to see pictures too. Oh yeah, and the doggies??? Do we get to see grown-up pictures of them?
Pauline, you really must count to ten next time, but seriously, I like Donna's solutions, or take his little head off and make a new one.
Hurray ! ! ! I finally got my dream studio. I can exercise when the spirit moves me and there's room to set up my cutting table too. Here are pictures:

Great job on the website, Kathleen. Very user friendly and a nice look too.
How sweet a story. It reminds me of my parents. They're not suffering from Alzheimer's but they love each other that much.
What the ! ! ! ! Is that for real?
Yep, I needle felt mine first too.
I guess you could still get them online???
Tami, thanks for the big LOL I just had. I needed it.
