It's now almost 5:00 a.m. and I've been up since well before 3:00 a.m. messing with my blog...I've had insomnia.  I've managed to turn my two column blog into three columns....thanks to Lisa and a blog post of hers from some time ago that I saved or rather the link I saved.  THANK YOU LISA!!!  I actually managed to follow the directions...imagine that...me and directions...there must be hope for me yet.   bear_shocked

Aleta,  yes, I think little STINKERBELLE as I call her could give Max a run for his money...they would make a cute Bonnie and Clyde at the least.   She certainly taking after her mother...although she does like to cuddle on her terms however.   bear_wub

Oh SueAnn...that could be part of my boredom BUT I do still have two little darlings.

Einstein who will be going to live with my friend soon and Tigerlily...who is so ornery she may never find a home and be stuck with me (cross your fingers and say ALOT of prayers for us).     bear_whistle   bear_whistle

I am continually amazed and in awe at the talent on this board and yours in truly one of them that inspires.  Your work is divine, Tami...just beautiful!!!

...so I've gone and messed up my blog...      Okay...not really...but I did redo it.  I decided the template I had chosen was boring and alot of people choose it first so I wanted to do something different...go peek.  It isn't anything remotely fresh and innovative but it's different then what I had...I may be changing it yet.

Now to decide if I want my daughter to whack off my hair...I'm in the for CHANGE!!!

Great tutorial Daphne...you rock!!!!

I just saw this little darling on your blog...and for the record he DOES NOT look like a monkey.  I wish I was going to your teddy show...he'd be MINE MINE MINE (well only if I could sell a few of MY bears first  bear_tongue )

I love original names...not that my children ended up with any....Kyle, Erienne (pronounced Erin) or Taylor.  At the time I named them they seemed original...apparently so did everyone else (accept perhaps my daughter).

However, Shantell was unheard of  when I was a kid and I didn't meet any one else until I was an adult.  In fact, I was at a store once and kept hearing someone saying "Shantell, Shantell"...and kept looking around...getting quite annoyed.   When I suddenly realized this young woman was calling for her daughter (about 3) who was hiding in the circular clothes rack.  She and I had a nice chuckle over it when I told her MY name was Shantell and I'd never met anyone else with that name.  Two of my friends have since named their daughters after me...(middle names).

And, yes kid's can be very cruel...I was often called Show-N-Tell...as well as adults because I was often sang that stupid song Chantilly Lace which to this day I absolutely HATE.

I love the name Sage...it's lovely.  Keep working on him!!!

Thanks Chrissi...I had actually put in an actual international shipping rate which is the part not showing up.  In the preview it shows up right under the domestic rate.  I've since gone in and edited my description to say to contact me for a shipping quote in hopes that they will actually READ that part.

Sellersourcebook now has a way to enter all your stuff directly through them.  I just haven't used it yet...creature of habit.  I may go that route.  I'm not liking Ebays forms too much anymore.  They don't seem to consistenly work right.

Has anyone that uses Sellersourcebook tried it?

Hugs,

Has anyone had recent problems with listings on Ebay not showing up correctly?

I just listed a bear... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … 0139184694

and when I "previewed" my listing before actually submitting all was fine with the shipping...both domestic was listed and international...HOWEVER...only domestic is showing on the actual listing and it says that international is not offered.  HUH?  I've gone in TWICE and revised it...even though it shows that it's correct without revising....I still go through the motions and it doesn't change anything.

The body of my listing says that international bidders are always welcome but face it not everyone actually READS the listings.   bear_shocked   Shocking, I know!!!

Any ideas...I've never had this happen before.

Thanks for any insight you might have.

What a huge surprise...I never win anything...really.  I only posted to wish you a happy birthday with no intention of my name being drawn.

I've emailed you my info.   Thanks Lisa...what a thoughtful way to share your birthday.

I'm not say I don't LIKE it.  I'm just saying that I think it's sad that it came to this.  The title BEARHUGS is just what it should be...a place to go where you need just that a hug, a shoulder to lean on or just a place to shed tears.  But, like Chrissi said...it's more the motivation behind it and quite honestly, it won't stop anyone from posting comments that we (individually) may not necessarily feel are appropriate if they chose.

I sometimes rarely get through General anymore let alone looking at everyone's marvelous work...now to have to find BEARHUGS...and pass out of        (just in case I miss someone).

STOP REARRAGING THE FURNITURE GUYS!!!  My shins hurt and the guide dog isn't here yet!!!

Okay enough...my vote...put GENERAL back on TOP!!!!   bear_thumb   At least that's one toe I can stop stubbing!!!

shantell

I'm going to stir the pot....

I think it's kind of sad...we have so many sub-categories anymore that it's a bit overwhelming to get through TT anymore.  I'm not sure why people can't just pass by those topics that say "prayer request" or when they open a post which someone is in need of some kind of support the reader doesn't just move on if the topic isn't of their taste...I do...or if it isn't relavent to me.

I opened TT this morning and thought something was wrong when I saw the General forum so far down...then saw Dilu's post and immediately new something was up.

My fear is that the BEARHUGS forum will just be forgotten...and those who need us won't get it because we are all too busy...and let's face it, we are all busy with other aspect of our lives.  Many of us hardly get a chance to pop on TT as much as we would like as it is.

I just think it's sad that it come to this...that's all.

I've been enjoying a nice summer as well.  I had a houseFULL of company...7 in all, 5 of which were kids and we made birdhouses...you can see the process & results on my blog if you wish. It was fun!!  I've been enjoying my 5 not so little kittens.  The other night we saw...OH MY...a momma SKUNK and her SIX babies wandering into our front yard.  I wasn't quick enough with the camera.  UGH!!!  We also have a doe with two teeny weeny little twin fawns meander the pastures...they are so cute.

That's about it...just enjoying mother nature and all the surprises she has to bring every day!!!

Hugs to you, Jodi...one day at at time!!!

shantell

Thanks!!  Glad to hear some of you don't think I'm a complete nut case for still having all of them.  I just hate the way some people treat pets.  It's amazing what people say when you are talking about having kittens available.  I walk away thinking to myself..."there is no way in hell you are getting one of MY kittens."   bear_angry

They are really sweet.  We have been working really hard on getting them to NOT jump on you and to learn the word NO...

shantell

Oh Clare, she is adorable.  I've wanted a puppy for a very long time, however, I'm overwhelmed with CATS and KITTENS at the moment.         Perhaps in another life...

Get's those eyes in the back of your head cleared, you're gonna need 'em.

Hugs,

shantell

I know I said...I wasn't going too...but I am...and yes I still have...ALL of them.   bear_tongue

Big Jack...just prior to pouncing in my lap...where he likes to lay!!!  He's my baby!!

Tigerlily...now being called StinkerBelle...she may be a wee girl but is a terror all her own.  I have the scratches to prove it!!!   bear_tongue

Scooter & Dudley were sound asleep!!!  They have all had their first shots, been FIV/Feline Leuk tested and had their health checks.  They are now 10 weeks old and just wonderful not-so-little kittens.  We have not had any luck in finding GOOD homes for them.  Unfortunately, kittens are a dime a dozen right now and I refuse to let them go to just anyone.

Okay...back to the grind stone...

Happy Summer day to all!!!

shantell

Oh, how exciting...a darling little boy!!!  Yeah!!!  I'm so thrilled for you Kim.  Little boys are so much fun (I have two...although not so little anymore at 6'6" and 6')...jeez!!!

Congrats to you and your family!!!

shantell

Congratulations EVERYONE!!!

shantell

I would not at all surprised to hear that about Joann's based solely on my own  local store...it's CRAP!!!  I can never find what I need or want and if they do happen to carry it...it's never ON the shelf.  I hate their fabrics and never buy from them but always travel out of town to quilts shops that carry quality fabrics and thread.

I'm like you Chrissi, I'm a touch it, see it, feel it kinda of gal when it comes to fabric...  bear_tongue   I can spend literally hours in a quilt shop...I just love them.  Sigh....I miss quilting.

shantell

Look at those darling little faces....

Yes, Judi...males are terrible for doing that sort of thing.  I also learned from our vet this time around since we now have a female in the mix that females will also kill new kittens as well.  They feel threatened by the new babies.  I had no idea.  Skippy was especially nasty to Slinky when we finally let her free from the garage for her "mini-vacations" from the kittens.

So glad your little mamma brought the babes to you for extra protection.

What adorable little ones!!!   bear_wub

Thank you so very much.  I have not spoken to my friend, Kathy (Hailey's aunt) for a couple days now so I'm not sure what the latest news is.  I don't even know what to pray for anymore...a miracle for Hailey or peace for her and her family.

shantell

Dear TT Friends,

I've known about this for about a week now...

A very close and dear friend's niece is fighting for her life.  When she was 8 years old she was diagnosed with liver cancer and shortly before her 9th birthday recieved a new liver.  Just last week her family learned that the new liver is now full of a very aggressive form of cancer and treatment is not looking good for her at this point.  Without going into all the details of why because it's long and difficult to explain, could you just please pray for Hailey and her family.  At this point they are only giving this little girl 2 to 3 months.  She is now 11 years old.

Thank you...

Hugs,
Shantell

shantell

Adorable, Shel!!!   As always, simply sweet and adorable!!!

shantell

He's beautiful Daphne...I would  be thrilled!!!  It brings tears to my eyes just reading the reaction from your customer.

But I'm all emotional lately anyway.
