I live far far from you and don't have any information of
your local store but I also order almost everything by online plus
from overseas.   I like Luann's idea only  if you can wait until March.    Show is very exiting place not only to see great Artist bears,
you have a chance to see all the bear making supplies too.
I bet Austin Bear show is huge one.

and please don't forget to show-off your bear

hey, Captain gave me this funny name..
   
         " Loopy Pottytushie "  :redface:  too funny.  :crackup:

I like to use French name and Irish name because I love the
sound of them.  I've used  " Ange " (Angel) and "Adian" for boy name....

I hope you come up with good name !!

I think I'll use the mat-glass eyes and glass pellets for stuffing !

I was born in Yokosuka Japan but move to Oregon USA right after I was born.   

I have one sister who is only 1year younger then me and she keeps writing
" I'm still younger than you ! " in
my birthday card for every year.
why don't I get tired ?? 

I am no good cook but I'm a great simmer and I love cats.

Hello everyone !!
Before I say anything...this is not my pattern but may I share
with you? it was designed by NR4YOU(Ms.Rie Koga) who is my bear teacher at the bear saloon that I goes every once in a month.
This Christmas bear was our last project and I just finished yesterday.
oops...
The last photo is the Tree Bear made by my techear, Ms.koga.

This bear is 16inches hight (include hat) and
I used  Intercal KID mohair 2H/hunter green for the hat/body/skirt part.  The ornament on this tree bear is made by me except the hanging socks and neck ornament.     

I don't want to make anyone sad but... I started this bear from last summer when my mom was alive and she was very exiting to see it......she passed away last october but I'm sure she is watching me finessing this...
