That's a rough thing to be going thru...and our kritters do pick up on our moods...I would try to find some Bach Rescue Remedy at a local health food store...it's a wonderful gentle flower remedy for those who have been thru trauma...and is very good for 2 leggers & their 4 leggers...and way better than drugs... :hug:  :hug:  :hug:  :hug:  :hug:  :hug:

I sure send safety thoughts to everyone effected by the flooding. I have family in Chenango County NY & Northeastern PA which are experiencing flooding in their area too...but their homes are on fairly high ground, so they should all be ok.

I live in the same kind of area as you Dilu. We have only a PO Box as an address. We have to drive 7 miles to where our mail is delivered to a central location of outdoor boxes. There is basically no home mail delivery around here. Then comes the UPS problem...they don't deliver to PO Box addresses & we have no real physical address, and putting complete directions for UPS would take up the whole top of a large box.
Kerren, You are always wise to be cautious, but maybe this customer is in the same situation regarding her address.

I am not really a good one to explain this...since I am fairly new too...and this is my first swap...but they do these regular swaps here...the pick theme's /topic's something like that & folks who wanna swap with another TTer sign up...and then folks are matched up ...sorta random I think...then you spend some time getting to know your swap partner in e-mails etc I decide upon a swap...and that's about all I can say about it...other than it's great fun!...I know there will be more coming up...and you can get in on the next one hopefully!!!

OK...I told you all about "Hare Hipster" that I got in the swap from Marion/Merbear going with me to my show last weekend as my "Lucky Rabbit"mascot in post # 18 above...and he was in my pocket all day at the show...and we did sell a few baskets...and then we got a not from a lady who has a gallery in town...hand delivered by her partner...saying she was interested in having our baskets in her gallery...so...off we went on Monday morning loaded with baskets for her approval...and holy lucky rabbit...she took all 45 baskets we took in to show her!!!!! Marions little bunny sure is packed full of good luck...he may have lost the race...but I really ended up a HUGE winner I think!! Thanks again Marion for the wonderful swap!

As for bugs, right now we are going thru our "Moth Invasion" in northern NM. This seems to be a cronic problem in this area...don't know what these kritters are...but here is a pic of my ceiling tonight...it's usually covered with major amounts of these creepy kritters, but I think last nights major rain & hail storm knocked a bunch of them out!

I never got a call or a mail notice from UPS...they just sent my package back to the shipper after it sat in the Santa Fe warehouse from the 13th to the 20th...and I have never had them do this kind of thing to my packages sent exactly the same way from the same place to me. I wrote UPS tonight about this & they promise a reply within 24 hours...I will let you know the outcome...once I know!. Seems like UPS is messing up big time these days!

To all TTers in UK & Ireland...just read this story & since I know how important chocolate is to ALL TTers...just wanted to make sure you saw this one.

Cadbury recalls over 1 mln chocolate bars

LONDON (Reuters) - Cadbury Schweppes Plc said on Friday it had recalled over 1 million chocolate bars in the UK and Irish markets in a precautionary move, because they could contain minute traces of salmonella.

"There are minute traces of salmonella, which are significantly below those (levels) which scientific standards say present any hazard," a spokeswoman for the world's biggest confectionery group said.

"There's no connection between our product and anybody becoming ill from it," she added.

The company said it had identified the source of the problem and rectified it and was taking steps to ensure these products are no longer available for sale.

The precautionary recall involves seven products -- 250 gram bars of Dairy Milk Turkish, Dairy Milk Caramel and Dairy Milk Mint; Dairy Milk 8 chunk; 1 kilogram bars of Dairy Milk: Diary Milk Button Easter Eggs (105 grams); and Cadbury Freddo 10p.

"We've been making chocolate for over 100 years, and quality has always come first," UK Managing Director Simon Baldry said in a statement.

"We've taken this precautionary step because our consumers are our highest priority. We apologize for any inconvenience caused," Baldry added.

The company said the decision to recall the chocolate bars had been made in consultation with the Food Standards Agency.

Shares in Cadbury were down 0.5 percent at 519 pence at 1450 GMT.

I have never tried NFing onto anything other than wet felted pieces, but what just came to mind when I read that the face fell off, was how about if you were to make a NFed piece to place inside of the head behind where you will be making the face, so when you work on the outside, there will be wool inside for the face to attach to. I think the piece you NF for inside the head should be pretty firmly felted so it doesn't felt much when you work on the face. Dunno if this would work, but it's a thought.
