Deb? Oregon? As in, Portland, Oregon?

Have you not been following the posts? Well ... I'll bring you up to speed soon as I get there. What's for dinner?
For me.....ears, set eyes with testers, stitch nose, airbrush ...
No kidding ... nose before airbrush? How do you protect the embroidered nose? You're going to tell me you paint around it aren't you? And then I'm going to scream.
Penny - i'm in Hertfordshire, UK if anyone wants to get together with me - probably would'nt learn a lot but we'd have a good laugh!
Gosh, would love to, but my flight leaves for Oregon in an hour. Another time perhaps.
YUP ... http://www.kranbearys.com/Beginner%20Bear.htm
Beginner Bear Class. If I had started out with this class I could have saved myself hours and hours of agonizing research and a couple costly boo-boos!
Thank you so much Mindy for taking us all along to NYC with you. It's been a pleasure!
Anyone know if there is a beginner class at TBU?
Tracy, if you find a good book, it's not that difficult to teach yourself really. Ten bucks says more than 3/4 of the folks here are self-taught. If you can't find anyone near you, don't be afraid to take the plunge.
My beginner book was The ABC's of Making Teddy Bears by Linda Mead. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/156477 … e&n=283155
Welcome to TT.
Aww ... that is so very thoughtful. And such a pretty card that has clearly touched your heart!
<Aleta, my cat died too.>
Teasing ... sorry. That was really low wasn't it? I'll try to be better.
Yay!!! It's Danni!!!! She's back!!!
I can't wait to see the finished bunnies too! Someone be sure to show me! :P
LOL, what do you smoke up there anyway, on the backroads of Lake Sunapee?
Yes, it's good to see you Danni!
Adorable bear! Great job, as always by Louise and Garnet. I've never used black or dark fur, but I understand it's a real challenge. This bear is perfect!
I agree wtih the others Penny, you should stay there with El Tel (and out of Aleta's studio).
Oh he's cute, cute, cute alright. I think he puts people off unnecessarily with his attitude though. It's abrasive. Love to see him skate though, and he can't run that mouth of his while he's on the ice!
can i come live with you?
Get OUT of the way Penny <pushes, shoves, pulls Penny's ponytail> ... I am moving into that room. Gheeesh!
Have a great trip! Whoohoo!
Very, very nice!
Great idea Jane. Hehe ... one of those "cheesehead" hats would fit perfectly!
Deb, please wait ...
Imagine a slice of pie, a good sized wedge, 1" at the tip and 4" at the crust. Yup, he'll probably be real cute. But I'll wait, just cuz you suggested it!
Arggghhh!
I have a bear head that looks, quite literally, like an arrowhead. Makes me angry too as it's wonderful mohair! I wanted to try a really wide forehead, which I did. But didn't draw a tall enough head, so it's a little ... well ... flat. Good grief. Please pray for Little Arrowhead. No face yet, so not sure what will happen to him. Only know the pattern is going in the trash.
Select Tips, Techniques, and Teddy Talk. A line above the heading line that includes Topic, Replies, Views and Last post, over on the left, it says Library ... and there is a drop-down box.
Of the short programs, I think I most enjoyed Stephane Lambie of Switzerland, though Yevgeny Plushenko of Russia skated a technically superior program. How tall is he anyway?
The talented American Johnny Weir .. is a brat, and I'd like to smack 'im.
Deb (waving my Swiss flag)
Yes! Did you get the TV unpacked and cable hooked up in time for the Bud Shootout?
Thank you Shantell ... and it sounds like you may have had a LIVE one chatting with you!
Nose. BUT ... not without having positioned eyes with test eyes.
PS... Someone make me get back to work.......... please!!!
Yeah right! Like we could make you do anything ... especially in the punchy mood you've been in lately.
Let me get this right ...
Is it YOU they want to animate? Or the bunnies you are working on? If it's you ... I think you're "good to go."
