WOW! I LOVE that painting of the peacock
Beautiful pictures Tami!
A great start to the tree already!!!!!!!
I sent mine off on Monday.....I hope it arrives in time, it has quite a way to go!
I think it's frowning at all the snow it sees here!
That's how I looked when I had to drive home after work this evening!
Hi everyone,
I wondering.....does anyone have a copy of Jennifer Laing's book Constructing Teddy and his Friends that they would be willing to part with either forever (I would purchase this and pay the shipping) or just for a little while ( I would pay a rental fee and shipping both ways)?????
I have found it on Amazon, it is no longer being printed and I'm a little weary of purchasing from their approved sellers based on some of the feed back they have. Also they are asking over $100.00 for a copy!!!!!
You can PM me or e-mail me if you would like....or posting here is fine too......
Thanks in advance,
AndreaM
GREAT idea!
Both, the swap Matilda AND the photo idea Daphne!
It must be something in the air because I just a few minutes ago finished a bear and said to my mom "I like him but I wonder what I could do to him to take him to the next level? I want to know more, I just don't know HOW to know more" I don't know if that makes any sense at all but I think you kind of get the idea.
I would love to post a pic and get advice! Then I could post the before and the after! That would be neat!
I just want to run my fingers through their fur
What a sweetie pie!!!!!!!
Hi Andrea, I did the same thing when I first got here, so don't worry you'll get it all sorted out. And i do agree you English is very good and easy to understand!
Hugs,
AndreaM

OMG Bobbie that plus sign is a great idea.....it seems so logical to hear you describe it but I never would have thought of that in a million years!!!!!!!
That's why I love this place!

Is this for real??????
Or is it a wig????????
Weird, I was just thinking the same thing this week Beth!
I was thinking of asking a few people for honest opinions of my bears so I can better focus my direction and energy, I've been feeling a bit blurred lately and need a push (or kick) in the right direction . I know that it's sometimes hard to see what's going on if you are too close to something (like if you've been staring at it too long) I sometimes know something 'isn't quite right' but I can't quite put my finger on it.......I feel like I need another perspective, or to see the work through another set of eyes.
I like your idea of keeping anonymity Shane, that way there is no pressure....hopefully. The problem would be finding someone with a similar vision or interest I guess.........and some one who is willing/able to take the time.
And yes, you would certainly need to have a thick skin.
AndreaM
That's fantastic news!
I hope it doesn't take too long for others to follow suit!!!!!
Woohoo
AndreaM
Hey I'm still in just trying to get some pics together since I don't have a web site! I will have those to you asap!
Come on everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
OOOHHHHH this sound very interesting! (those of you who watched Laugh In can insert the accent here!)
Mine is a mouse named Frightful......he has big eyes and ears big enough to cover them so I called him Frightful because he look like he's always afraid!
I think I'd like to give this challenge a try too!

I hand sew right now even the big 30 " bears! Wow that takes forever. I was just given a 1992 Singer machine....it needs work which can be done for about $45.00. I'm going to have to learn how to use it as I've noticed I am experiencing serious back and neck pain after a day of working on my bears. I have a show in 3 weeks and need to get a move on!
I will only use it for the big seams, body legs and arms, I will do the paw pads and head by hand to make sure it's just the way I like it!
It sure is interesting to hear how others do it!
Hugs for all!
AndreaM
phew! Thanks! I look forward to this every year I'd hate to have missed out!
