Shari, I think your bears are beautiful and I can't see anything you should change. Maybe it's just not a great time on ebay like the others said. And Bid4Bears is still very new.
I really love Ory and admired him several times while he was on Bid4Bears. I'm sure he'll find a loving home when the time is right.
A tornado hit a city that I frequently go to shop. In fact, I was there Saturday, the day before the tornado came. There's still no power there. Fortunately, we didn't get any tornadoes where I live. The winds were fierce though. A huge tree in our yard was blown over and knocked down a good portion of our wooden fence, but luckily that was the only thing it damaged.
Daphne, I am so glad to hear your father is home and doing better. I'll keep him in my prayers for a full recovery. I hope you're doing okay too. You must be so tired. Get some rest and take care of yourself.
Leo and Blimey are both fantastic bears. What wonderful creations, Terrie and Penny!
Oh, I do hope you're okay, Louise. I hope you'll come back soon!
I'm sorry, I thought you were still talking about crochet bears.
Hi, Tomi
I have used diluted acrylic paint on my bears and been happy with the outcome.
When I am making thread bears, I completely finish the face (eyes, nose, mouth...) before closing up the head. I enter and exit through the head opening when doing my embroidery. All knots will be hidden once you close up the head.
Jenny, these bunnies are fabulous! I love them both, and I'm sure the shop will too!
Oh, I think she is sweet just the way she is.
Kim, I think she is adorable and your mom is going to fall in love with her! I like her big eyes, they seem to suit her just fine.
Aww, so cute and sweet. Lucky you, Kim, to receive one of Amanda's fabulous creations!
Clover is so cute. Congrats, Eileen, for receiving such a fabulous little girl!
OMG! That dog's head is big! That's hilarious how he's sitting on the couch! Didn't you say he keeps his front paws on the ground so he can't get in trouble for sitting on the furniture?
Both of your boys are adorable. You're gonna have all the girls calling your house in a few years!
Oh, Aleta, your chicks are so cute. I think I like the first one too! Kind of an old and tattered look...cute!
Oh, Jane, how awful!! I hope the swelling and pain doesn't last too long.
I have tried to sew in the car, but it never worked out very well as I got a little woozy. Fortunately, I don't get stuck in too many situations that have me idly waiting for long amounts of time.
Wow, Tracy! He is magnificent! He does look old and wise. I love his name - way to go, SueAnn!
Oh, there you are Nancy! I've missed seeing you around, but I am very happy to hear you've gotton a lot of work completed. Hope we'll see you again very soon!
No, I don't think it is right either, but lots of sellers do it. I've had lots of sellers not give me feedback until I give them positive feedback. I've had a few transactions on ebay where I wasn't pleased with the item, or it took really long to receive it. And I just have to keep my mouth shut, because they haven't left feedback for me yet so if I say something negative, I know they will leave me negative although I promptly paid and kept my end of the deal. It's frustrating!
Oh, Dilu, no need for rivers of tears, of course we will miss you!
I love your new card. So cute!
Sabine, what a cute little guy you received! Great job, Sophie!
Awww, she's really sweet.
Oh, Kirsten, baby Madison is so beautiful! Big congratulations go out to you and your husband. Thank you for sharing your wonderful news with us.
Glad to see you, Deb, and to know you're okay. I hope your sister is okay and will have a complete recovery.
Hope you see more of you soon. We miss you.
Great cards, Kim! Aren't they so fun to make?
