Now why can't I ever think of an idea like that ... sigh!
I absolutely adore your bears, they are so gentle, their facial expressions are superb, always make me feel good. Wonderful as usual.
Hugs,
Marilyn
This little bear has made my mouth water, what with spices, cider, gingerbread!!
I agree with Becky, and I think anyone would love to find Mullins in their christmas stocking!

Hi Daphne,
Gggrrrr, it's been one of those days today! No sooner had I popped my last message on this topic this morning when "hey presto", our system went down and has remained down all day so I have been unable to get back on until now! Most frustrating.
Anyway, I have taken the bull by the horns (knees trembling) and have followed popular advice and have now put prices on my website. It makes you feel so "exposed"!!
I'll let you know if it makes any difference to how things are going. (it will probably scare everyone away! )
Dawn:
Thank you so very much for your lovely comment Dawn; that made my day.xx
Hugs to all,
Marilyn
Hello Lisa,
You know, I am so stupid!! When we were at the Sheffield show last Sunday, I was rushing around (as normal!) trying to get set up in the morning and walked past your table, then caught sight of your lovely little characters so stopped to have a look at them. They were beautiful! Very nice indeed. But I don't think my brain was working too well at the time as I sort of forgot you were on TT, despite the fact that I had been looking at your lovely designs for the show. Doh! I'm so sorry I didn't have the time to stop and chat, I had meant to return to have another proper look but time just whizzes by and it is difficult getting the opportunities to go and chat with everyone. So I do apologise and I hope you had a wonderful show and thoroughly enjoyed yourself.
Hugs

Hi Daphne,
This is a brilliant topic and one that I wrestled with a little while ago.
I used to put my prices on my website but then had bit of a problem with someone who would constantly email me about the prices. On chatting with another artist about this "problem", they had had a similar situation and so no longer placed prices on their website, so I decided that maybe I should remove mine too. So I haven't shown prices on my website mainly because I have got into the habit of not doing so! But maybe I should! I still get enquiries either by email or phone for my prices but perhaps not as many as I would if prices were shown.
Obviously you have to show the price if you have a Paypal button system on your website and I had wondered about doing this myself recently, wondering whether the "Buy It Now" way of working would be advantageous, but then wondered whether it took some of the "customer contact" feeling away if you see what I mean. Some things can seem too mechanical or techy and I personally do like the customer contact side of things.
I do think though that if someone really loves a particular bear and would love to adopt it, they would be only too pleased to quickly email or ring for a price. . If they don't, then maybe it means they didn't really "want" the bear so much in the first place. That is certainly what I have found and customers who have actually contacted me usually buy the bears they have enquired about. I actually had a lovely person ring for prices of particular bears last night which resulted in their adopting one of my bears right there and then. They were a brand new contact too so "thank you" to them if they are reading this!
However, after reading the comments of other TT lovelies here, maybe I should rethink the whole thingermejig through and start putting prices on the bear details. I think I will give it a little go - and I do apologise to anyone who has been annoyed with me for not putting prices on my website!!! I'll attend to it today!!!!
Many thanks Daphne, it's given me bit of a kick up the proverbial backside!!
Hugs to all,
Marilyn
Aw, what a lovely little bear! He is very cute and looks smart in his little dungarees.

Hello Richard,
He looks a handsome fellow! I like the mohair a lot as the light colour and shorter length helps to highlight the design
of the bear. I bet you are chuffed to bits with him!!
See you in a little while!

Hope you had a good show.

Aaawww, thank you so much for sharing that link, it's beautiful.
A perfect start to the day, and just what I needed to brighten an otherwise very dull and miserable morning here!

Sweet little orang! Loved all the panda videos, but wondering where mama panda is when the newborns are featured. Seems like the babies should be cuddling/nursing with their mothers instead of a soft blanket/plushie substitute.
That was my very first thought too Sue Ann, such a shame they are not tucked up nice and snuggled against the warmth of their mums soft fur, but I guess
these little fellows have a greater chance of survival by other methods. Still awfully gorgeous and cute though!

Aaawww, you are so right Peter, a wonderful way to start the day ..
The baby pandas are absolutely beautiful! I am sure that if I worked at the zoo, I wouldn't get any work done for watching these cute little bundles of fun all the time!
Thank you for sharing the news Peter!

You have triumphed as usual Jane, so thank you so much for all your efforts in getting the photos onto TT. It must be a massive job to do
and is very much appreciated by us all here.

Oh Sue Ann, how incredibly sad. My stomach did a flip-flop when I saw the "Hope and Lily" heading when I came on to TT just a minute ago. I was only thinking yesterday that although poor Sarah was no longer with us, we had been lucky to escape other tragedies. I haven't been to see the Update today, it was to be my next move. I don't think I want to read it now.
It's amazing how a group of wild animals that most of us have never met, (unless you are lucky like Maria), can affect your daily life. When everything is going fine with the research team and the bears, you find yourself feeling very happy, but the slightest bad piece of news and it brings you down like a sack of potatoes.
Poor little Cal.
Marilyn.
Wow, massive congratulations to you Karen!
You certainly deserved the three awards as your work is brilliant. Well done!

Oh my, I absolutely adore this photo!!!
It makes me laugh but also go "aaawwwwwww" at the same time! A wonderful photograph, and it reminds me of a fluffy animal thingy I used to have
when I was about five that was on a piece of elastic so that you could bounce it off things!!! Happy days!
Thanks for posting this Tami, it brings a big grin to my face!

Hi Richard,
Thank you so very much for your lovely comment on my bears, (someone just emailed me and said to take a peek at your posting) but I think it will be you that will be inspiring people! Your sweet comment has meant such a lot to me, especially after the horrid week I have just had. Thank you so much.
Hugs,
Marilyn
Aawwww, ... are you bringing Molly over to England Peter so that she can meet her new love under the dusky setting lights of Hugglets?
Of course, this would all have to be carried out in slow motion! (isn't that how they do it in the movies!)
Love the little story and we just know it will have a very happy ending.
Hugs

Hi Maria,
Nice to hear from you again. I should think your recent visit to Ely was the trip of a lifetime! What a great privilege to see first hand the wonderful bears that we are constantly reading about and trying to keep up with. Meeting Lynn must have been wonderful, such a gentle gorgeous chap, and also Sue who is also such a lovely lady. I loved reading your account of when you were walking along and out pops Hope!! Oh, magical!
I do wish I had been there to observe all the magnificent bears that I can only read about, so I can't wait to see all your photos.
I bet you still have a grin from ear to ear - despite the ironing pile!!!
Hugs,
Marilyn x
