Thankyou Dilu. yes it hurt BAD BAD BAD !!!!  and still does. he pulled my wrist one way and he told me to pull my arm the other way (kind of like tug o war with my arm) and then he injected it with his other hand he said doing so would open up the joint.. i never want to repeat that experience EVER AGAIN LOL !

okies must dash. time for bed for me i think so i can go sulk and feel sorry for myself hehehe

Pipa

Pipa

Ooooo Cute Puppy i want one !!! bear_original

Pipa

Yep the nighst are dark now. it's dark about 5pm here now, i hate the dark evenings!! makes you feel goomy huh !!!

and on a side note Dilu - i just wanted to let you know i had my hospital appt today and the Dr didn't want to see my hairy legs. he was rather fascinated in playing with what he described me as having as "floppy joints" and after a MOST UNPLEASANT AND PAINFUL steroid injection into the side of my hand i can barely type lol

Pipa

42 Inches!! WOw thats a big un !! i love the pics of Orson & MaeLynn !! how incredibly Cute !!!

12 inches is the biggest I've made bear_original

Pipa

it certainly makes life alot easier Jared if you use layers when changing things on images  bear_original

Pipa

we certainly could Judi !!  they do look adorable together and the sentiment behind the idea makes it that more special !!  bear_wub

Pipa

i actually tried them again today and my hair came out really good. i did what the girls suggested and curled it in a bit at the ends so now it doesnt look like i ran the iron over my hair  bear_grin

Pipa

your welcome Judi !! i love your little lamb too and i think he looks perfect with the farmer !!!
But i also like the idea of the lion and the lamb. kind of like in the bible you know. paradise on earth one day where the lion will lie down with the lamb !!

Thank you so much!
Thanks Kimmy

Pipa...A mouse with the lion?  Very nice idea. I have made a mohair knitted mouse but never a mohair fabric mouse...hhhhhmmmmmmm

Penny, you always crack me up.

Right now the lamb is being shared by two creations, this lion and a farmer bear.  I'll have to make another one...or two so Penny can get her breadhooks on one... bear_laugh bear_laugh bear_laugh bear_laugh  I bet you could make a lambie

Pipa

WOW! i LOVE him he is SUPERB!

Pipa

you did such a fantastic job on your lion judi !!

how about putting a  little mouse with your lion.. like the story of the lion with a thorn in his paw and the little mouse pulled it out for him bear_original

Pipa

extra crispy LOL! im going to try doing mine again today. fingers crossed i do a better job this time bear_happy

Pipa

oops Daphne i forgot to mention. i didnt use the lasso i tried but if you let go of your left mouse button while drawing you lose the outline ..you would have to go the whole way around the bear without letting go of your left mouse button, thats why i used the paintbrush on a new layer to draw the outline then selected it and cut etc etc! bear_original

Pipa

as for raster layers and vector layers. i never use vector layers. they restrict what you can do unless you really know the programme or need to use it specifically for node editing (i know how to use PSP quite well as i've been using it for drawing graphics for many years now but i would avoid vector layers and go for raster layers)

at the end of the day when altering images my motto is you can never have too many layers, it gives you more freedom and makes life alot easier when editing images if you add everything to new raster layers!! bear_original i drew a graphic once and it had over 100 layers in it hehehe

Pipa

toolbox2.jpgtoolbox.jpgDaphne - the snowflake is a preset shape already installed with your paintbrush (might depend on what version you have, i paid approx £80 for  PSP7..

anyways the snowflake..if you select your paintbrush, you should get a pop up box like in the picture labelled PIC1 above, if you select the little paintbrush in that box in the top right corner there, you can pull down a new menu from there you select CUSTOM... and then a new box will appear (See PIC2 above) and from there you can pick lots of shapes already for you to use bear_original

Pipa,
Thanks for the lesson. I use PSP too and haven't tried the lasoo thing. I always spend an hour 'erasing the background'...... I'll try your technique next time I'm photo editing. And where did you get the snowflakes? I'm still trying to figure out the difference between a raster layer and a vectorlayer. As you can tell, I have a lot to learn with PSP still.

good luck finding the perfect name susan bear_original

Pipa

Jenny thankyou for sharing your rcommendations for hair products with us. bear_original i just use Herbal Essence because i like the colour of the bottles and they smell fab LOL

Wash&Go tends to make my hair more flyaway so i avoid that, but i am going to try these products you suggested see how they go bear_original

Pipa

Ohh good luck Jenny, i hope the delivery goes smoothly for your daughter in law !! bear_original

Pipa

Jane - i posted a sheep ornament i sold on ebay to someone in the UK and it didnt arrive for 2 weeks, i sent the lady a refund and then it arrived so she sent me the money back. i dont suppose you sent the bear registered post so it requires a signature on delivery?? i would ALWAYS make sure you get recorded delivery so there is proof if the buyer got the bear
