Thanks Shelli and Teddy Bear Org...As soon as I get my site up and going, so they can verify , I will contact them. That was good to know.
Nanc.......
Thanks to all of you  Your responses have given me way more than what I had. Hopefully I have it all covered now.
Love your cats Shel.... they are all beautiful!
How lucky for them, they found such a sweet new mom!
There is a beautiful cat at our pound that is in a foster home. I would take her in a minute, but it says she (and that is the first problem, SHE) is used to being 'top kitty' and has a queeny syndrome. I don't think Bootie would care for a pampered female...
I would like to get him a friend tho...I am looking for a male kitten, one that he can 'raise'.
Merry Christmas to you all and thank you again.
Nanc....
Hi Jenny,
Yes, you do need a different email address. I am connected thru MSN and I can have up to 10 email addresses (I think that is what I remember, anyway). Check with your carrier. I just click on 'Connection Settings' and I can add however many I want. Currently, I have 5 going. My granddaughters have 2 of them, I set one up for my husband and I have the other two that are related to my ebay ID'S.
You can add more to your paypal account also. They all connect to my one account...sort of like fingers, if you will.
Concerning Ebay,I think they are both connected to my same bank account . I am not sure on that one. I have had them for quite a while. I know that I had it set up to where, the ebay fees were both charged to my Visa card and just recently changed it, so both fees are taken directly out of my paypal account. So, they were both linked to the same credit card and now both come out of paypal.
That one you will have to check with ebay on. I often wonder how people can be cancelled by ebay and then pop up as someone else, a week later. do they have to get new bank accounts each time. I don't know.
But I am sure you can add more email addresses thru your internet carrier and I know you can add a whole lot of ebay ID's to your paypal account. They just attach to your original account.
I sold a vintage Annie doll thru my other ID and said NO Checks please...don't you know the man sent me a check...WITH a letter thanking me for mailing it out right away so his daughter could have it for her birthday.
I wrote him and said I was so sorry that he did not see the NO checks please, part of my auction (even tho it was in huge print, but I didn't say that)...and told him that there would be a hold on it by my bank and I would send it as soon as possible. I felt bad about it, but I wasn't about to send this doll out without knowing I had payment. I was sure I was going to get a neg on that...but I didn't.
I bought a vintage crochet pattern for edging from a lady...it came to me un-readable. It was a copy from a magazine. She never sent me a new copy or even answered me...unfortunately that was one of the rare times I purchased it thru NancyAndFriends. I never left her a feedback for fear of a negative being left to me...so to protect NAF, I declined leaving a feedback. Of course she didn't either and the sale does not show up on the feedback for either one of us. So you can go that route too.
What was bad about that situation was that I wanted to leave a feedback letting other potential buyers know that you could not read the pattern...had I bought it on the other ID, I probably would have, but I had to protect my feedback on NAF.
Hope you can get a second ID...it sure is a nice feeling to know your hard earned feedback on your ID is protected from some of these people who like to leave negs.
Merry Christmas, Jenny.

Hi Glenys...I am having the same problem. If you would like to swap links, I would be happy to. I would love to have some bear artists on my site.
I too have to send them to my site designer...she is almost done with the site, just a few more days now. (hopefully).
My one question tho...when you put, say Intercals link on your site...do they put yours on theirs.
When you say that you have received visits from your links, Laura...then your link has to be on their site, right?
 Wow that sounded really dumb, but how do you get visits from commercial links?
Nanc.....
Jenny,
I feel so badly for you on this subject! One thing I will pass on to you. I never buy anything with my NancyAndFriends (except a template I just purchased) ID.
I have another ID and I buy everything thru that. Fortunately it also has 100%...but I have run into a few jerks and thought they might do some harm...but on that ID, I really don't care!
I have a couple of close 'bear friends' (had to double check and make sure I used the right bear spelling there) ...who told me to never use my ID to buy with...their reasoning is they don't care to display where they might find a fabric or fur they purchase on ebay, to their potential buyers.
For me it has worked out very well and I even use my second ID to sell an occasional non bear , non handmade item.
That keeps my feedback on NAF stickly bears and such.
I do believe you can get that feedback removed, if you are persistent with ebay...altho, when I see a negative, I always check to see what it is about and don't pay too much attention to them unless it says something like, not as described. That worries me!
Soooo, you might want to consider getting yourself a 'for nonsense, ID'.

No Shel...her name is Kathleen Heinemann...Carrie is the lady who is doing my website. Sorry for the confusion.
My gorgeous Bootsie Boy is from the pound. A lady who was moving into an apartment took all 4 of her cats to the pound (I can't imagine, especially since our pound is NOT a no-kill). He is the biggest love, half Ragdoll and other parts of something else. But, he has the 'Ragdoll Flop'...when you walk near him, he immediately flops down and rolls on his back for a possible tummy rub. I want to get him a friend but I am so afraid I won't find a perfect cat like Bootsie. He doesn't eat plants (so all my plants are safe)...he makes no messes, no mistakes, no bad habits and tolerates anything...even things he doesn't like and comes running when I call him.
Anyway...any Kathleen's in your family?
Eileen, I hope there are alot of future 'webbies' out there that will be able to glean some useful knowledge from this thread.
nanc..
 Shelli, it would have to be your sister-in-law !!! I just put down what Carrie had asked and it just dawned on me, the last name would have to be your married name. Wake up Nanc.........
You gals are THE BEST!!
Thank you so much.
Glenys, I am glad this will help you too. I can't say that I felt like a dope...just un-educated in the field of web design...and I knew it was an important part of it and I didn't want to make a mistake at this point.
I was sure you gals would have the answers I needed and as usual ... you did!
Jared, your entry was most helpful. In fact I sent it on to Carrie too. She does great work at a very reasonable price but mainly does animal related sites...as for cat and dog breeders. She was a very good customer of mine (mink bears) and I decided to ask her to do my site because I knew she did this and I wanted to patronize her as well.
Shelli, I also copy/pasted your earlier entry to Carrie as well as Lynns and she asked me if you have a sister named Kathleen. Carrie bought one of her kittens from her. I didn't know if you had a sister who was a cat breeder or not, so I told her I would ask.
Ok...off to take pictures of my new auction.
Thank you again for all the responses!
Nanc.......
  thank you SOOOOO much. I think I have it all covered now. I copy pasted a couple of your responses and sent them to Carrie and then worked on what I thought would be searched.
My brain just went blank, but you gals gave me a whole lot more ideas.
I greatly appreciate all your time to help.
hugs...
nanc.....
This is how my web designer put it to me.........
Hi Nancy,
If you can type out a list of keywords for me to implement into your site for the search engines, that would be great. Usually I do this but I don't know teddy bear stuff well enough to know the right words.
You can type the keywords like this:
teddy bear, teddy bear artist, hand made teddies, teddy bear
The words, or string of words, should have commas between them. Just use any words that people would type to find a bear. END
That is all I know...I am not familiar with these things  but I do know this is very important.
Thank you all so much for responding.
Nanc.......
Girls, what are the key words that should be be put into the search engine, for a website?
I haven't got a clue and I need your help.
Thanks so much........
nanc
Thanks so much for taking the time to post these Shelli...I didn't realize everything was getting so close, especially the December one.
I have bookmarked this, so I can keep it fresh in my mind.
Nanc.......
I have been with msn for 6 years....not that I think they are fanatatic but I can't switch my 'favorites' over to a new carrier. Msn has that fixed (of course)!
I pay 21.95 a month and have 24/7 phone support...which is nice when you get someone that knows what they are talking about.
There have been times when I have reached a 'specialist' (and I do use that loosly, but that is what they called their people sitting in Indonesia in front of a msn manual and say 'can you hold please'...while they quick look up what the manual says about your problem) who have managed to really screw my computer up. Must have read the wrong paragraph to me.
I have msn's accelerator, which is supposed to make me speed along 7 times faster...and I still wait and wait and wait. I cannot imagine what it must be like without the accelerator and I say that jokingly...because I see no difference. I hate dial up.
Anyway, until we become part of this century, here in the woods, I guess I will have to keep using it...Oh and when my teddy bear sales pick up to where I can spend 60.00 a month for DSL.
Ok, Phew...I FEEL better!!!
Nanc.....
Hey Dilu....I am sorry about your sloooooow connection, but I have the same thing. I feel like I am in the dark ages here. They do not have anything but dial up available in the back 40 where I live.
Anyway, I want to know where you got all those cute little guys dancing around your chat. I love the little guy mubbling to himself and just generally agitated. That's me today. hahahaha!!
Nanc.....
Thank you all for responding! I have found each one very interesting.
I definitely need to work on this link thing.
I am going to paste below, a link to a page where I read some link information, that got me thinking.
I don't want to copy/paste anything from the page, for I know very little about copyright laws. The part that really started this whole thing, is near the bottom of the page where it says ...'affiliates'
That is where I came up with the part about, linking to people or organizations that receive a lot of hits. There is also link on this page, that you can use to find out where your site stands, with regards to the major search engines.
I found it very intesting that you all received many more hits, after linking to others. I guess I need to find some 'linkers'!!
http://www.lissaexplains.com/basics3.shtml
Thanks again and any more info will be greatly appreciated.
Nancy
Girls, would you be so kind as to give me your opinion on LINKS. My web page is almost done and I have read so many varying comments about links.
i.e.
1. Link to someone who has a lot of hits themselves.
2. Link to big groups.
3. Don't put links in your site.
I am getting a little confused!
I have heard that your links will affect your rating by the search engines and I don't want to do something wrong.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....as always!
nanc.........
Great idea Jenny, thank you!!
Nancy
Hi Dilu...After you and Sabine both made the suggestion about the disc's...I am definitely going to take it apart.
Right now I am in the middle of giving myself a VERY stinky body perm (phew, the worst I have ever smelled and it is supposed to be an aromatherapy perm...Aura from Sally's) so I don't want to touch the bear for a little while.
This mink is so slick. I have a lot of mink left from when I made mink mini's for a while and thought I would use it up on some bigger bears.
Thanks for your help Dilu.
Nanc........
Oh Shelli, that is a gorgeous magazine to be included in...and you certainly deserve your part in it.
Congratulations...you are well on your way to being in the 'Teddy Bear Hall of Fame'.
Is there such a thing? Well, there should be if there isn't and you should be in it!!
Wish we could see the pictures.
nanc...
What happy news you had to share Heather...congratulations to you and Tony
12 years is a wonderful start of being together, and I hope you have many, many more wonderful memories to make!
Nancy
Thanks so much Sabine for your suggestions.
I know that the disc's are in place. I think I will take the bear back apart and try your idea about cutting the fur back. I never had this problem with the tiny ones I have made, but this bigger bear is a whole different story.
I am sure when some of the fur is removed, I can lock the nuts down tighter.
I haven't been on for quite some time, so I didn't see the thread about this. I will go look.
Thank you again!
Nancy
Hi girls...
'Slickery'...not sure if that is a word, but it sure describes the joints on my mink bear.
I have them on a lock nut joint...locked as tight as I can get them and still the joints feel loose, because the mink is so slick.
Has anyone else had that problem and maybe an solution to the problem? Poor little 'fella' can hardly sit up.
Appreciate any advice here!!!
Nanc.......
Sue Ann...check this one out also. I just found out about it and took a quick peek. I think you will really enjoy this too. It has explanations for all the tools etc...right down to the basics.
i understand there are only a couple of changes from elements 3 to 4.
Nancy
Hi Sue Ann...Happy Anniversary, it sure sounds you had one to remember.
Try this link, I think you will really enjoy this forum
I have taken one of Dave Cross online classes and it has been a great thing for me. The forum is just full of great knowledge and I think there is one for the new Element 4 users.
Anyway, I know I have read many posts from '4' users, with lots of questions. Problems that you may run into and it is nice to read all the help.
Have fun with your new elements and take a peek at this forum... I know you will get lots of help from it.

I know, doesn't that just break your heart? She is so adorable and I can only imagine what her mother is going thru.
There are problems and they are running tests to determine what has to be done.
She sure has been thru a lot in her small amount of lifetime.
