i just draw the pattern usually only once on paper then trace it onto the fabric, this would explain why i cant design a particular idea very well...it just turns out how ever it wants to  bear_grin  the clay draping idea sounds way too complicated and drawn out for me as im not known for my patience - but...i may just have to give it a try one time  bear_original

no sorry i dont have any experience with this, but i have for some time been thinking about attempting somthing similar

one idea could be to buy somthing that allready does what you want it to do ie. some item with motion sensors that spins and use the parts from it but i dont know how that idea would go with copyright laws?? the other way would require some sort of electronic knolage..for a full robot bear( i am a bit too ambitious at times  bear_grin ) youd have to know how to program chips and setup motors and lots of other stuff im sure i dont even know about yet  bear_tongue

have you done any reasearch on the net about this? maybe there are basic kits of some kind avalible?

interestic topic bear_thumb  i'll be keeping an eye on this - lets hope someone else has better ideas for you tho, as i dont think ive been of any help

hmm on here my user name is greatwon2 ...long story short , i was a teenager when i made my first hotmail account and greatestone, greatone and the greatest...etc (ah to have that sorta confidence nowdays  bear_tongue ) were taken, so i used a little play on words. If i had of known that teddy talk was to become my second home, i would of thought more about what name to use bear_grin

AlmostBears is my bear name  and that came about after my mother in law asked me to make her a koala..for my first ever design bear_shocked  after i got it made i said to my hubby "well its almost a koala" and as a joke made a tag for it saying "this almostkoala has been made for you by" ...etc.etc.
the name just stuck...but if i ever start selling i may have to change it as i dont want anyone thinking i run around almost bare bear_tongue

greatwon2
