Thank you Gemma and Veronica. I hope someone does fall in love with her enough to take her home.
I would check them. You don't want to be stuck in the security line with the agents wanting to tear your bears open. They're getting pretty picky.
I got mine from Gladys and Tami L. Thank you, Gladys and Tami.
Well thanks, Jodi. Hopefully my bear won't drink too much green beer. Don't want him falling off the avatar.
I finally had a few minutes to make my St. Paddy's Day avatar. I don't know how you bent those rainbows Bonnie and Lynne, pretty good. I tried everything and even read the instructions - still couldn't figure it out. Great avatars, everyone ! ! !
If you see cockatoos here in California, that means someone's pet bird got loose.
We have the biggest turkeys here. I counted 50 yesterday in our back yard. The toms are puffing up now for mating season. I'd much rather have cockatoos and parrots to look at. That's sooooo cool.
WOW . . . that was amazing. Thanks, Sue Ann.
Fantastic ! ! ! ! Unbelievably beautiful feline you've made.
I'm reading a book that daughter, Tracy gave me for Christmas called "Redeeming Love". I know it sounds like a romance novel and it is, sort of. It's a story based on the book of Hosea in the Bible about a man who marries a prostitute. Interesting because it takes place in my neck of the woods during the gold rush. The town in the book is called Pair 'o Dice and I've heard the the town of Paradise was originally called Pair o' Dice. Maybe Shelli knows since she's right down the mountain from Paradise. I usually read historical fiction or mysteries. I like Patricia Cornwell and Sue Grafton.
And Aleta, I say painted, for what it's worth. If I had mine to do over again, I'd do paint in a darker creamy color, with a glaze. Two years ago we did cherry stained dark and I like it, but I wish the kitchen was a little brighter.
Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses, I still love that one. I read them to my girls too.
All the Beatrix Potter books, I had quite a collection.
Gulliver's Travels
Have you tried Naproxin? I think the brand name is Aleve. My husband takes it for his back and it seems to work for him. It's an antiinflamatory.
Excellent ! ! ! !
What I do is go to the option "Show new posts since last visit" in the upper right corner of the main page. Then I just hit my "back" button after I've looked at the post. You can click the "Show new . . . " button again to refresh.
Or, you can go to the bottom left of the main page to "see recents posts" or "see recent topics". When you go there, you see the posts in their entirety.
Wow, that was really cool.
Kimberly, your frog prince is absolutely amazing, I mean really amazing. He looks like he just jumped out of the pond and is going to speak to me.
Gemma, I love your little floppy bear. His face is just prescious.
Does the bear have to be made of green mohair? Or can he/she be another color with a St. Patty's theme?
As for the digital challenge, I've been playing around with a new program called Photo Impact. Now I can put it to the test. It's a lot like Photoshop but seems to be a little more user friendly.
Thanks for the recommendation, Sandi. I'll look for it at the library.
Me too, me too, Sandi. Congratulations to each and every nominee. The work that has shown up on TT this year has been absolutely spectacular. Sooooooo much talent, it's mind boggling.
Me too, match thread to backing.

If I were home, I would. I'm still in Nashville without any bear makin' stuff. I'm missin' it. I'll be home Saturday night. Sunday, I'm hitting my sewing room straight away.
Shari, Aidan is definately all boy, and an adorable one at that. How could his new mom not want him.
