I am so sorry to hear of your loss.I think most of us on this board know exactly how it feels. My heart goes out to you.I think you have to bear in mind how lucky you are to be able to love an animal like this. Some people are incapable and never experience the joy it brings.Time will heal and she will always be with you.Often when I am out and my dogs are running around me I feel the presence of my late dog Nettie. It is always sad but comforting too.I hope you get to this stage soon.
Thnking of you at this very sad time

poor souls all those nasty injuries.
I have two fingers that are now rubber and I can stab them and they don't even bleed.
The worst I did was one night when I should have been sleeping I was using plyers to pull my long needle out of a head and I pulled so hard it came right out and pretty far into my thigh!!!That was a nippy sweetie!!!

I think he must have a good chance if he is still with you.I have had many rabbits and loved them dearly.I once got a new baby one in a prsent that was obviously to wee to be away from his mum.He couldn't eat.My vet worked like crazy and it cost me over £150 for just a few days with bunny.I never for one moment thought he's only a rabbit.
I once had to get an emergency vet out to see my pet rat.He was so gentle and said the rats time has come and he would be best put to sleep. He gave the injection so slowly so as not to hurt the wee soul.He gave the rat to my daughter and stayed with us till he passed in case he needed any more.He gave my rat and us the same care as a dog or cat owner and I will never forget it.It was daughters first loss and he made it a lot easier. All life is special, you sound just the right sort of person to save this wee bunny.

The poor baby.It brings tears to my eyes seeing her with all the tubes. We have to remember they feel pain and discomfort but not the worry and they can't imagine the worst .They just hang on as long as they want to.Her life is obviously so good that she has lots to hang on for.I am looking at my four all upside down with legs in the air after a two hour run and counting my blessings.May Magic be like that again soon.Thinking of you

I think the worrying must be so draining.I went through similar when I was a lot younger .I hope the outcome is happy, most are remember .Thinking of you

Its just so easy to miss something like this.Dogs can be so nutty and behave differently for no reason.Do not blalme yourself,as soon as you thought something was wrong you took her to the vet.I think as pet owners we all put ourselves through hell if we are not soo perfect all the time. You obviously love this wee soul and are giving her a great life, remember this.
I am hoping and crossing everything for a happy outcome.I have been right where you are a few times over the years.

You have achieved your own look which is very hard to do.I think she is very cute and looks well made.

Well done.I used to make two inch mohair bears but that was back when english mohair was available. It hd such a tight backing.Intercals tt600 is almost as tight and I have used this before.I find ironing after fray checking makes the fabric supple again.

I must have missed something.I hope you are going to be okay.Take care

I can see why you love the bears listed.I have favourites in three types.
Gladys is my favourite thee inch mini.
Boris is my favourite ten inch hairy bear and Dumfries my favourite ten inch vintage bear.
Luckily Marion had Dumfries so he has sort of stayed in the family!!!
The other two are away far away........

It is so great to hear your good news.Although we don't really know each other I have been thinking about you.I am so pleased for you and your family.Be very very nice to yourself !!!

The fact that she is stable must be good news.I hope to hear even better soon

good on you taking the time to think of others with your campaign.
My dogs get dry working dogs food.It has less additives and basically just chicken and rice.It has no v.a.t which makes it also cheap, makes me wonder why people buy tins???My oldest dog is about 13 and has beautiful teeth.I see some dogs much younger with brown teeth poor lambs. As I said previously they sometimes get a raw carrot ,pepper and apple which they love. They never get human food or doggy treats.
I keep checking back to see how the wee doberman is.I hope things are going well.
Just a thought ,If you don't want to needle felt(I've never tried but imagine it's a lot of work)you could cut out the pieces all in white and dip into fawn then wash and sew.Bleach could perhaps compromise the fabric.I did this once with a bears muzzle .

I think the waxed nose suits your style really well. This wee soul is beyond cute!!!!

I like his face and his wee pal

I have everything crossed for your poor dog.We don't have those treats her in Scotland but like Jennie mine don't get anything other than the odd green pepper apple or carrot besides their dried food.It was kind of you to warn everyone at this difficult time.

I trim the three head parts but not too close .That way I can shape the muzzle better cos the furs not in the way disguising the outline.Once I have done the ears eyes and mouth I trim the muzzle and pluck close to the noodle then airbrush and thats me .Its fun to read all your different ways. The more I read the more I think maybe I used have tried a book or pattern at some point and saved a lot of time

When I was a child I was a sickly and in and out of hospital a lot and always vomiting. All my childhood toys had to be plastic or they ended up in the bin.
I got my first bear at school from a friend .He is a merrythought cheeky and I still look at him every night and love him!!!
Here he is ....
its just after ten p.m here and I have just finished a wee black bear and dressed her.now I am on here trying to stay awake (NOT THAT YOU ARE ALL BORING) so I can go pick up my daughter in half an hour .It is frosty outside and i would dearly love to be in bed instead of driving 16 miles in the dark and rain.Moan moan moan zzzzzzzzz oops better slap myself about the head for a bit.
That really was quite touching!!
I once stayed in a boarding house in Islington while doing a bear show in London. The landlady said we could stay for free if I could mend her baby.I took baby home (a chiltern hugmee) and patched him up for he.She was really pleased.
I didn't mention the fact that Baby had to go in the freezer for a week to kill his bugs!!!!
