No problem, Krista. Like I said, there's no rush at all, so let those creative juices marinate... lol

Awwww  Thank you, Louise!
I'd better watch out, I'm starting to have feelings for this little girl! Gotta remember whY i make these bears, and it's NOT for me to keep all of them!!! lol
Kimberly W.
Awww, thanks gals! I've already shipped them off to their new home. Their new mom kept saying 'Remember, post the pics but they're MINE!!!' lol So I have a feeling they'll be getting a nice warm welcome at their new home (not to mention they'll be running into some past 'Bear' Bottoms... Isn't that a nice feeling to know that your creation is going somewhere where one or to of your other creations are?
Kimberly W.
Sandi and Jeannie, thank you both tons and tons; it's so nice of you to help 'pep talk' me for this show.... I know it's a month away, but I've gotta start early building up this confidence that I so lack oftentimes!!!
Krista, Thank you, too!! Max, Nox, Delilah, Claire, my Sassy Bear, my pink bear from Jeannie, and my own little Winnie (my completely small hug) are all waiting quite happily for the arrival of a K Pawz Peachy Keen.... lol But don't worry, I'm not pacing waiting over here (truly, take your time) I'm too busy making bears!
I will DEFINITELY put pics on of all of my show bears - I'll be having a few new patterns (including a couple of bears made from my new pattern the big BumbleBear was made from) and now that I've held in my hands such sweet smallish bears like Nox and Max, I think I'm going to give that sized pattern a go. I'm going to be busy! Geez, this is going to turn into a 'My First Show' documentary... lol!

lol, I guess that's what we do best! Katie sounds like a good name. I wantedt o name her Clara, but that's my sister's newborn's name, and I kind of want to make a Clara bear that they can have.... Agh! Decisions, decisions!!!
Kimberly W.
My aunt had a friend whose daughter was named Emily. They called her Em, which I think is really cute, but I think most people would think "Em? what kind of name is that?" if I named her that.... lol It is cute for short for Emily, though...
She definitely needs a 'little girl' name... Like Katie. or something... lol
Kimberly W.
Ooo, Kim Bee, that IS a good name! I think I might have already made an Emily, though... I'll have to look it up.... lol

Wow, really? Really, really?? Thank you, Debora! As much as I'd love to sell lotsa bears, I mostly want to go just to have participated in one, met all the other artists, collectors, etc etc! It seems so exciting and FUN! Selling a ton of bears wouldn't hurt either! ;)
OOop!!! I'd better get bakc to work!! Look at me sitting here on the computer when there are bears to be done!!!!
Kimberly W.
Debora,
I am so anxious to do a bear show; I did meet one very nice bear artist at this one that I went to this past weekend. Hopefully she will show up here on TT, she said she was told about it there at the show by someone else as well (you KNOW I had to mention our wonderful group!) But I can't wait to do a show, myself!
Marion,
You are so sweet; thank you!!!!!! It makes me so happy that I am getting positive response on this girl. I'll admit, I'm a little scared to do a show..... lol
Kimberly W.
Awww, you ladies are so sweet! Thank you so much! I am thinking Clara for her name, but am not quite sure yet. She's just sitting here, looking at me like, "Mom, when are you going to give me a name?" hee hee
Kimberly W.
Awww, thanks, Renae! You made my day (and that's really good, because I've been feeling like I'm getting a cold or something....)
Kimberly W.
Hi all!
Well, I think I'm going to give it a try.... I'm going to participate in the next Teddy bear show in my area. It'll be the one in Colombus OH July 15th and Ann Arbor MI July 16th. Sorry if I don't get online as much over the next month; I'll be really trying to get enough bears done for the show.
Well, this is my first little girl for the show. I don't have a name for her yet, but she's another of my little Pocket Bears, standing 5.5 inches tall and made of imported synthetic. Her little ruff around her neck has these really cool colored Swarovski crystals. They're kind of red/orange.
My wonderful husband was so sweet to get me a 72 and a 12 set of Prismacolor pencils (and Apple Dumpling bear, Max!) for our anniversary last week, so I have shaded her with Prismacolor pencils. I LOOOOVE them!
So what to you all think? Is she good enough for show!?!?!? lol

Hey everyone! I just went to my first bear show (the one down in Indianapolis), and it was SO NEAT! I had a really good time looking at all those other artist's bears, got to get some mohair from Intercal, some needlefelting needles from Neysa (oh man I hope I spelled that right!) and met some REALLY nice ladies and some REALLY nice bears!
I went mostly to get an idea of how to 'be in a show', and to get a hands-on with other artist's bears... so many amazing artists!
Kimberly W.
I was wondering what happened to you, Kim Bee! You have to email me when things like this happen!!! Here I am all wondering and thinking about you, and you're over there twirling away! Glad to hear you're better now, hopefully this is just a very temporary thing. My grandma-in-law had bad vertigo and nausea, headache a few months ago and her doc said it was some sort of virus.... Weird. Sometimes I wonder if, when docs don't really know what's going on, they just say it's a virus... because viruses you really can't cure, you just have to wait for them to kinda go away (or live with them... ) Anyway, I'll quit rambling... GLAD YOU'RE BACK!!!!!
*shrugs shoulders*
 Kimberly W.
Geez, I forgot to say... The big bear is made of Intercal's 370S/C in gold and black. I also added it to my description.... lol
Kimberly W.
Thanks you all! I think I am going to stick with this mid-sized pattern (the one I made for the big bear) Oh yeah!! measurements!! The little one is 3.5 inches tall, and the big one is 14 inches tall.
Kimberly W.
Ooo, marion! He's a DOLL!! That has got to be one of the cutest little bears I've ever seen!!
Hey, you have my bid on one when we can afford it!
Maybe if you did the arms a bit more similar to your bigger bears, just kind of scaled down? Bet it'd be SUPER cute!!
Kimberly W.
Thank you, ladies, so much for your kind words. Well, I'm happy to say that the buyer of this commissioned pair has happily accepted them!
So they will be going to live with a few of my other bears and some fellow TTer's bears as well.
Kimberly W.
Oh, duh... nevermind. I just re-read that... Just tell me to go back in my corner.... lol
personally, I think they are OK... Some are cuter than others, some I think are just completely adorable, and some I think are not so cute at all....
Kimberly W.
Hi all! Here's a pair of Bumblebears I did as a commission. The large, mohair bear is 'dressed' as a bee, with removable wings and antennae headband, and honey drop on his nose (which is why that little bee is so interested in giving him 'kisses'!). The mini is a little bee bear. They have matching wings.
This is my first mohair bear. It was really fun and neat to work with. Definitely different than synthetic.
Big bear is made from Intercal's 370S/C in gold and black.
And the honey pot is handmade (not by me).
Kimberly W.
Yay! Thanks, Shelli! I'll be buying at least one! Jus curious, will you have little kid's size? I'll make my two daughters sport Teddy Talk tees, too! ha!
If no, no biggie, just wondering!
Kimberly W.
Oh my goodness, that bun is SO cute! If they start multiplying like mad, you can pass one along this way anyday, I'll take care of it! :)
