Majbritt, your bear and doggie are both very cute. Was your dog a naughty doggie to tear up the newspaper?
Thanks for asking the quesiton, Claire. I was just pondering a center seam head. Hmm, now I'll try.
How do you place the two gusset pieces on the nap of the fur??? The same way you would for one???
Wendy, you were definately missed. I for one, was needing a fix of your hilarious Aussie English. You know how to fix your computer don't you? You give it a couple of kicks and show it who's boss. Really, now, what would we do without our computers ???!!!!##@@
Thank you, thank you , Ellen, Paula and Matilda ! !
Thank you, Michelle.
What jointing system are you using?
Jodi, I used little cotter pin joints. The cotter pins are 3/4 inch and the discs are 1/2 inch.
Oh Daphne, a well deserved get-away for you, for sure. Sorry to hear about all the health problems of your loved ones. Sounds good for your husband's job. I can't imagine them wanting a 2 day interview if they weren't very serious.
Have a wonderful time at Schaumburg ! ! ! Look forward to a report on the show.
Well Miss Jodi, don't you worry a lick about us for now. Your plate is full. I will keep you and your friend in my prayers and ask my friends to do so as well. (We have a pretty good prayer chain.) When you are ready, I vote for a fun Christmas project too. Take care of yourself, ya hear now?
We saw Dwight Yoakam at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on a night when they did a Ray Charles memorial show. He was great. They had Ronnie Milsap, Vince Gill, Martina McBride and Michael McDonald that night too. My daughter lives in Nashville so when I go visit her I usually take in an Opry. Very fun. But, yep, we've been to a bunch of country music concerts. Brad Paisley, Sarah Evans, Alan Jackson, The Judds, Sugarland, Marty Stuare, George Jones. Love em'. But my favorite was a couple years ago when we got to go back stage and have about a 15 minute private chat with Toby Keith at one of his concerts. (My husband's cousin knows him and fixed that for us.) He's very tall. He towered over my step-son, who is 6' 1". We also got to meet Rascal Flatts backstage that day.
My daughter works for an insurance agency on Music Row in Nashville. In their building are mostly music related businesses. She calls me now and then and says, "Mom, Brad Paisley sighting (or whoever she's seeing)," as they often walk up the stairs in front of her window. She's seen Kenny Chesney, Kathy Matea, Keith Urban etc, etc. One day she called me from a pet store in the mall and said whe was shopping with Wynona. She wasn't really with Wynona, but Wynona was in the pet store that day with her daughter buying a chinchilla. Whoa, I'm sounding like a name-dropper. Oh well.
Thank you all for your kind comments ! ! !
I'm encouraged now to get going on my second mini. Can't wait.
  Now I'll have that song in my head all evening.
Sorry, I hung the guy a few times.
Sophie, Ambre is very cute. Great idea with the beads.
Thank you, Stephanie, Kim and Nancy, for your sweet comments.
Icicle is beautiful. I love that alpaca too. Your customer is sure to love him.
I just subscribed a couple weeks ago. I hope I get this issue.
Well, I guess he's a mini. He is 4.5 inches tall standing and 3 inches sitting and made out of two colors of mohair and ultrasuade paw pads. Eyes, upper chest and paw pads are shaded with prisma pencils and his nose is needlefelted. Well, whadya think??
Shelli, Bumble is an adorable bear. I love his "do".
My preference is the quilter's template sheets too. You can buy them at Walmart, very inexpensive but they come only in 8.5 x 11 inch sheets there. (6 to a package.) They last forever and because the plastic is sort of frosted (not slick), they don't slip around.
You are a lucky girl ! ! ! They do make a handsome couple.
Ditto what Shantell wrote. Well said, Shantell.
Sometimes a long walk with my dog all by myself with my favorite music on the ipod will make me feel better. Or calling my daughters, they always cheer me up. A major funk, however may require more drastic measures like shopping or fresh baked cookies. I also like Shantell's idea of doing something for someone else, you know, be a blessing to someone. Hugs are always good too.
Yep, I'm with Edie. I think it's time to close the book on this guy. I'd tell him I couldn't make the bear for him, suggest that maybe he could buy a manufactured bear for her, then put him behind you. Put him out of your life for good.
Thanks, all. Yep, I'm a proud mama, I just love my Paigie to pieces, (and Baxter too).
He is an adorable teddy bear ! ! ! ! You must be a proud mama bear.
