Hi girls!
Would it be to late to join for swapping? i have discovered this post only this morning... I would be interested to join. If someone is still looking for a partner...
I don't mind swapping with someone far from France...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Well done, Hayley! Matilda has now got a terrific avatar!

Surprenant, vraiment surprenant. Actually, I am impressed. I cannot find the words to describe what I feel about your bears. Your new design is great! Well done.
 :rose:
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Let me introduce Prosper. I have just finished him (his collar is still wet...
).
Prosper is about 50 cm tall, 1200 g (a bit more than 2 pounds). He is made out of a gorgeous synthetic fabric and is fully jointed with safety joints. He has browngrey and black safety eyes, embroided nose, mouth and eyebrows. He has a bell in each ears (I love bells so much that I need to put some in every bear I make!!!).
He will go tomorrow to Britanny to live with my brother. Finger crossed my brother will love him!!!
At least my sweetheart does and even ordered a similar bear for himself, dressed as a clock maker...
Prosper is now enjoying my rocking horse...
:)
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Dear all,
Tomorrow I am off to visit my familly in Britanny (near Brest).
Luckily, the bear i was making for my brother will be finished just in time: just his claws to add and his tie to sew (a chance that i had suitable fabrics to make it, so i did not have to pop up to the shop). I am appreciating a lot my new sewing machine. I think I will have to sew a part of the tie by hand, but it should help a lot anyway...
when i leave to Britanny, my car will be very heavy with four bears inside!!!
Oh dear oh dear oh dear! All on the back seat!
Back to my sewing!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
You are right, Gail! I have received so many false e-mails from e-Bay and PayPal... The first I received lokked strange to me, so I asked google to help me check if this mail was a "good" one. Google found me a website that was explaining me that such a mail was dangerous and that all that kinds of e-mails were dangerous.
So from that time, I checked all that strange e-mails and dicarded them without answering.
To answer your question about selling on e-Bay, Fran, just avoid listing your bears on the French e-Bay... There is no special category for bear artists. I have been stupid enough to put my bear there and I still wonder if someone will finally bid on him (I will now soon today).
ebay.com or even your one should do it well I guess.
:)
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Take it easy Pipa! i hope that your sister will be fine and that you will manage to have some free time for yourslef! :rose:
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Dear all!
You are such an active group of people! I cannot beleive it! when i think i have finished to read all the new posts, there are already new ones, and it never stops! Oh my!
Well, i have to say, I have difficulties to follow you all!
There is one bear next to me requiring my time and horribly jealous to see me busy on my computer on this forum instead of finishing him! He would prefer me busy sewing his ears! He is still waiting to have a nose and a mouth, as well as paw pads in his hands and claws...
Oh, dear, what am I doing, HE IS my priority! Needs to be ready before thursday... I am sure he will be absolutely gorgeous! Finger crossed that my brother will like him (that is a present for him to put on one of his sofas- I hope- in his new house)!
Right, i am off to my bear!
I will send you photos of my bears in November when I have more time.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Clare, it looks like anais is successful! Already 3 bids on it! i am sure you will sell both of your bears easily, as they are so sweet. Anais is my favourite one!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Yes indeed, you really are noughty!
but at least, we've had a good laugh!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hum, surprising...
Coudn't be the Loch Ness monster??? Mmmmm, probably to small! not sure he would have travelled so far...
Doesn't look like a dragon too...
Maybe you are right, maybe this is a Platypus... The question is: what's he doing there? did do have opportunity to check if he was wearing a spy microphone on his tummy? Maybe he was spying you, Matilda!
Or, maybe he has escaped from a zoo and wanted to explore the big outside world.
Oh, dear, so much mystery!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Ah, cats, so funny and so imaginative! But your are unfair with them. They are really adorable. Right, they like playing and catch your eyes. And they definitely like technology.
I wish my beloved Merlin was still alive. Was such a charming cat. And so young. Been killed by a car...
By the way, we generally say that curiosity kills the cat.
I will definitelly have some cats when I have a house. both my boyfriend and i love cats. We will have to be careful they are nice with my teddy bears!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
F-Secure is a very good one too. My boyfriend is using it and is very happy.

i have no idea how much it costs...
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
