Hi Kelly, I never hold bears unless it is say, the guy from the museum in Japan, and he said very boldly, PLEASE RESERVE. And of course he came back. Had it not been someone like that, no way, for exactly the reason you describe! If the person has no incentive to buy now, often they dont, you have proven this to yourself twice over now. Never again! Some people need the fear of possibly losing it to make the decision. I had a prominent buyer wait. When he returned I was sold out. Then, he placed an order. So, what to you have to lose?? Nothing, just 2 sales! And by that I mean, #1, the first sale, and #2, the order from the person that dithered! Pam

I have a Bernina 1090QE,( 1990 ) with needle down, I bought it new, they dont make it anymore. I also have a singer industrial. But since my daughter dropped my Bernina on the floor 2 yrs ago, the leg thingy that lifts up the presser foot digs into my leg, even after repairs, so I bought a $5 singer at the thrift like moms. I need to have it oiled and cleaned but it works good enough for her. (LEAVE MOMS ALONE!) Pam

Aleta, oh yes shipping to Canada is a nightmare. It takes FOREVER. I shipped a large saddle by USPS.....I was so afraid the buyer would slam me with neg feedback. I have several collectors up there, and the boxes are always opened. Only once, at Christmas time, I put pretty paper on top, and it got  there in time for the holiday, but all others have been rifled and SLOW....as in......OVER  A MONTH! Pam

Seriously, this is a crock. Some day I'll get the nerve to enter the contest. I appreciate the efforts made by you and the publishers to honor the work of artists! I look forward to it every year, and truthfully never considered how much work it is..........like Kelly said "like juggling vipers"  aaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhh! Thanks for being there.
