Melissa,
I definitely will be praying for you and your family. You must always remember that God hears all of these prayers, and He cares. He loves His children.
Pip is so precious. He reminds me of my son when he was little. He fell asleep in his mashed potatoes once. He played so hard that as soon as you set him at the table and got him to be still, he was out of it.
Marie,
I am keeping you and your mom in my prayers. I know how you feel. It is a tough time, but there is a brighter day coming. Be strong and remember that God is in control.
I, being computer illiterate, have gone with Register.com. They have a build your own site feature. The cost is $5.95 monthly. It is easy to do, but when my service expires, I probably will try some of the software.
I'm wishing you the best. I know it is easy to say, but "you must stay calm". You won't being doing yourself any good if you get all stressed out. So take a few minutes to relax and have a bite of chocolate.
Some of you may remember Frankie. We found her back in the fall in the ditch. Our initial thought was that she had been hit by a car. However, when the vet examined her, there were no signs of this. She had some type of head trauma and she was super thin. The guess is that she was the victim of someone's cruelty. The head trauma has caused permanent damage to the eyes, so her sight is very, very bad. As far as the weight, as you can see from the pictures, she is no longer thin. She is the most wonderful, loving cat. Originally there were a few people interested in adopting her. When they found out that she would be blind, nobody wanted her. I am so glad that I kept her. We really love Frankie. She is named after "Ole Blue Eyes" himself, Frank Sinatra. I just thought you may be interested in hearing a story with a happy ending today.
Jane,
I will put you and your family in my prayers. Remember, God will not put on you more than you are able to handle. He is there, holding your hand, through the trials. Something that has stuck with me for years - I heard a statement made "You are not put through the fire to be consumed, but to be refined."
I am finally adding links to my website. I have added a few that I remembered having in the past. If you would like to be added, please let me know.
We had a very lively Memorial Day weekend. Friday we had my niece and 2 girls from church come to spend the weekend. I made pizza and we added more bodies for dinner to make a total of 11. On Sunday we added another niece and two more girls to the mix to spend the night. Monday we had a cookout here at the house. We probably had 50 or more people out for this. It was hectic but fun.

Sue Ann,
I thank you so much for taking Bailey, and I know Bailey thanks you too. It just sickens me to see the way "civilized" humans treat lives. I am sitting here surrounded by 10 cats, 3 dogs, 4 rabbits and 5 horses that are all rescues. They are all gems, and the people who gave them up didn't realize the treasure they lost. I also believe there is a payday for those who are so cruel hearted.
Very good job! Now someone please help me. I am looking into a photo program. Paintshop, Adobe Photoshop - which is more user friendly? I need something easy. Any ideas?
I made this a while back, but here is my white buffalo. He is made from alpaca.
My favorite turning tool is a pencil with a good eraser on it. The eraser gives traction on the fabric. Needless to say, I do have to replace pencils when the eraser is worn. So around here we have a lot of new pencils with no eraser. I also use my daughter's hair stick when working with miniatures.
It sounds like you did get a bargain. The old bears usually have a very high value. I have a Petz bear that was my dad's. It is from the 1920's and is very worn. His appraised value is over $800. I think you did a good job.
Just know that we serve a God who not only is great, but He is good. Great because He can do all things. He can heal. Good because He loves you and He will touch you. "....by whose stripes ye were healed." I Peter 2:24
My prayers go with you.
You don't know how I want this little guy. He looks just like my shepherd, Andre, that died back in the fall. Andre was as near to perfect as any dog has ever been. I miss him so much.
If your mice are not old enough to breed, they are not far from it. I believe they are of age shortly after weaning and their gestation period is about 2 weeks. I will drag out my books and check for sure. My husband doesn't understand me. We had a mouse build a nest in our grill and I would not let anyone light it until he was long gone. I hear "It's just a mouse. It'll get in the house." My reply "I'll take my chances."
Be sure I will pray for you. I thank God your son is better. We do serve a wonderful, awesome God.
Just a warning. It will not take a few months to find out if you have a pair. They mature early. They also have been known to have very large litters (we had one that gave birth to 16). If you have boys, you should be able to see little "boy parts". Females are much better pets in my opinion. They do not have such an odor as males tend to have.
Right now I am busy painting and wallpapering. When finished, I will start "The End of the Spear"
I will remember you in prayer. I know how hard this is, I've been there. I also know that we serve a mighty God, and He cares.
I'm seriously considering building an ark here in Ohio. But, I can't really complain, many have it much worse than we do.
