She's amazing isn't she?   I once emailed her to say how wonderful I thought her work was, she never replied  , ahhh to be famous!!!

With the New Year coming and 'Resolutions' abundant - this subject is virtually top of my list this year, something that seriously needs looking at.

Ebay is really my only selling outlet, but my bears sell for virtually nothing, like someone said before - I might as well give them away!!      £16 GBP for a 16" mohair bear - nah, it's never worth it.  Once an artist at a show told me to never list you bears at any less than you would be happy to take for them, I have tried that, but unfortunately they don't sell, and that sets my esteem even lower!!!   Gosh I'm such an emotional person!!       So I usually start them low, and then at least they sell, and my buyers are always pleased with their purchase, I have some wonderful feedback, and that makes it all better for a day or two, until I have the bills rolling in 

I was thinking of perhaps stopping my website as it's just 'there' and costing me more money - I don't get any interest in it.   Unfortunately my biggest problem is lack of time to take a look at these problems, I work, have 2 small children etc etc, you know the scenario......I don't know how you all do it, tips please!!!   I just want to sew!!!   

I'm really interested in this subject (if only I had a magic wand to make it good for us all !!) but seriously, I need to sort this out before I am forced to hang up my needle and thread.   

Just read that back, sorry I didn't mean to sound so depressed!!   

Ooooh my tree's gone already  :dance:   :clap:  I've got a tiny house and it's nice to get everything back to normal!!

I CAN'T STAND Christmas past Christmas day, all the excitement and anticipation's gone......

I adore all things old - with history - my bear collection mainly consists of old boys and girls, I love to sit and listen to their stories........

I've been admiring some of the bears in Penny's new sewing studio, and I wondered if any of you felt like sharing pictures of your favourites in your collection??

I will post pics tomorrow, my camera battery is flat and is charging as we speak!!

Awww Helena, all this for just ONE DAY really - and I tell myself EVERY year, I'm not doing all that again next year, and every year I DO!!!   

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't NEARLY finished yet, I've done NO secret shopping yet, as they've been off with a bug and broken up from school today anyway      I bought some gifts this afternoon, with them in toe, and one of the gifts is broken and the other is the complete wrong size so will all have to be returned to the shop and start again......     GREAT!!   I have to work every day, and I take them with me    and have to drag them to the shops after work to try and get ready......PHEW!!!

There I've had my moan!!

Shelli, I was thinking exactly the same      Aleta lives in my dream home, it's like one out of the movies      She also has the studio I dream about........ahhhhhhh!!

I was too absolutely enchanted by the Santa coat in the case, Aleta - your home is beautiful, if you could see my tiny poky English house, you'd laugh your head off!!!  (Especially when you see me squashed in the corner of the lounge/diner trying to create!!    )

I'm off to sulk for a week 

Oh Jane that is soooo funny!!!   You've made my day, after a LONG weekend of looking after 2 children with the dreaded bug!!  Ugh!!   

By the way, I had a fabulous time, dancing the School of Rock with Jack, getting all the gossip from Brad!!!

I'll be having Christmas morning at home with hubby and my 2 kids, then off to the in laws for dinner, then to my folks for tea and overnight stay into Boxing day  :dance:   I've got it easy this year for a change, usually do it all every other year - I think they feel sorry for me this year as I've been so busy     YAY!!

Just wondered what you all get up to where you are - have a good one whatever you do    :dance:
