Hi Just thought I would add to this thread as well!!! :dance:
I received an email today to say my little bear milo has been nominated for a golden teddy award!!!
I will try and post a photo soon!!!
It being my birthday tomorrow, this news is even better :cake:
I am so excited i can not go to sleep, that my husband said go down and play with bear friends on the net!!!!

Hi all
I have some wonderful news. I have just received an email to say my bear Milo has received a Golden Teddy Nomination in the miniature dressed section.

I am dancing for joy. this is the biggest prize I have ever received for my bear making and only decided to enter at the last minute. :dance:  :dance:

As it is my birthday tomorrow 14 Feb this is the best birthday news ever!!!  :cake: I will try and show a photo soon.

Thanks for your lovely comments about my teddy bear ornament.
I cannot believe how quick it arrived at your place Sonya. I only sent  it last monday!!!

I forgot to tell you Sonya that the hands and feet are weighted so you can hang it over a branch and do not need to use the loop on its back.

I am glad you like it. I cannot wait to see my ornament.

Will I am finally organising my big trip abroard.

Uk here I come.

My OE (overseas experience)
A lot of New Zealanders in their late teens early twenties head to the UK
This didn't happen with me so I decided to do it now due to having a few cousins living in London
It is now taking place late Sep early Oct.

I am trying to organise myself and daughter Elissia to get to the Euro Teddy show in Essen in early October
Also I would love to meet up with any teddy talkers. :hug:

Are there any teddy shows on at that time in the UK

Danni this thread is fantastic :dance:
I have used it on all different types of mohair and as I use a lot of spase mohair.
Just before christmas I used it on my bears. I am talking 2 3/4 to 4 inch. I was sooooooooo excited I had to tell all my bear artist friends.
The thread seams to grip the fabric and hold the seams tight.
my Dave thought I was crazy that I could get so excited over sewing thread.
