Ooooh yes Dilu, we'll all be waiting to find out, only wish I had a hubby as thoughtful!!! Don't get me wrong, he's great and all that, but no, would have NEVER in a million years come up with this!!!
Lucky you!!
Why can't these sad people find something useful to do........ pain in the you know what to everyone
Hi Shelli,
I have no knowledge of dialling abroad, but the phone numbers over here have a 5 digit code and a 6 digit actual number, so I'm sure what you've said is correct.
Good luck!!
Oh Marie, how lovely!! It's so nice when people take the time to say how happy they are - I'm so happy for you!!!

Hi Estelle,
I have to agree with Helena, as I've just received my first order from Stephanie at Sassy Bears, lovely to see you here on the board by the way Stephanie!!
I have just finished a miniature called Angel Gabriel from the Smokey Long Pile, ooooooh it's lovely fabric, I can't wait to use the rest!! Take a look at Gabriel, he's on Bears for Sale, just look at those wings I bought from Stephanie too, they're BEEEEAAAAUUUUTIFUL!!! :)
You've got to try it, ALL OF YOU!!!!
Oh SueAnn I know, I was typing away late last night and noticed that - I meant 'shift them'!!! It would all go pear shaped and come out as THAT word wouldn't it!!! Sorry, didn't mean any offence anyone!!
Susan, they are lovely!!
Melissa
Listen to Louise and the others, they are right, don't sell yourself short, I've done that before and it's gutting!!
In fact I'm in danger of doing it again on ebay, I have to get rid of the bears, in my small house I just haven't got room to store them!! I saved them all for my first show, but it turned into a disaster - so I need to shift them! I don't have another avenue at present so this is it!!
Aww Susan I don't know if I've done that, I'm well known for 'Last minute Lou!' but am happy to ship anywhere!! Sorry so late!!
I haven't room for a light tent, there's hardly room for us here if I'm honest!!! Haven't you heard about the small matchbox English houses??!!
I take my pics outside on a dry (not always a bright day!!) with my newly bought mounting card, i'm having fun with my pics at present, but found the pink bear the hardest to photo!
Awww you try and do something good in this world and get, well basically, kicked in the teeth, Judi I'm so sorry for you.
This couldn't have come on a worse day, what with your poor Artifact too....
<<<<<HUGS>>>>> to both of you xxxxxx
Wow look at all the lovely things going on here!! Good job everyone!!!
I know I'm not needlefelting here, haven't chanced my arm at that yet, but just wanted to sympathise with the old 'pink photography' bug bearer that was going on!!
I tried to photograph this bear today,
What a NIGHTMARE!!!
What do others find id the right colour backing, I have many, but lost my rag with this yesterday!!! So gave up!!!
I love looking at all your wonderful needlefelting though, you're all very clever!!!
As an ebay seller, I've noticed that when you click on dolls and bears>then artist> the first artist page comes up with 'popular searches' or something at the top, how do you suppose you get there. Ebay.com seems to have 'bear' 'miniature' etc etc, but ebay.co.uk has 'portobello' and 'meri bears' among others. I know 'meri bears' is a member here, but I don't see her post very often, if anyone knows..........
I personally consider everything under 5" to be miniature, well they're fiddley enough aren't they!!
I once made a bear at 1 and a half inches, phew, never again, but I did persevere!! :teddybear:
Good luck, and let us know how you get on.
We would love to see your bear once it's finished Pam, we love pictures here!!!
Bear making is so addictive isn't it?!
Hi Jane,
Have a wonderful time, take it easy, but sell loads, your bears and gollies are fantastic!!!
Sorry Shantell, it's funny how we have different words for the same things! By mounting board I mean the card you use for going around the picture, inside the picture frame? Clear as mud!??
Helena, I do have a flower on my camera - oooh something else to play with this weekend , I've got 2 miniatures to photo!! Thank you!!
Ahhh, I get it
I'll have to take a look at these, never knew you could do this - thanks Shantell
xx
I'm completely lost here, what?? There's always one and it's always me, now explain SLOWLY!!!
Hee Hee!!! That Phillys is really cute, Have I spelt that wrong?, and you're going great guns on your featured, mine's died a death!!!!
Aww Helena, thickie here, what do you mean by macro, my camera's covered in little pictures, there's a portrait one, a snowman, a sunshine one, a camera (for video, about the only one I know....) what would my macro look like, don't ask me to find my instructions, they'll be lost 2 house moves ago!!! Guess I could surf the net in an emergency...
ANYWAY, I've been to my art shop this morning and bought a LOAD of mounting board and been playing about with photo's this afternoon......
Look..
Photo before.....
and after....
Much improved if you ask me....
Still not perfect, very dull 'again' here today, but much better I think.....
