Hi everyone.    This the first time I have showcased any of my bears
This is Spike.  He was my toby award entry.  Unfortunately he was unplaced.   
He is 3 1/4 inches tall and is made from short pile mohair that I have nicknamed no-hair mohair

I entered the toby awards this year as well, but like you no email. I felt a bit sad and disappointed.   
However I picked myself up and said I will try again next year

Today I received my first card.    It was from Wanda Carson. Thank-you soooooooo much for your lovely handmade card.  I especially like the little scrapebooking accent inside.    I think I might use this idea next year :dance:

I am soo sad that the Ally Pally show will no longer be held.    I was planning to go to it next year.  As you all know I am planning my big overseas trip and was hoping to attend as many shows as I could. :dance:

Marion.  I know the thread. 
Here in New Zealand they sell a thread called Nymo beading thread.  I think it is the same thread as super-lon. 
It is the most wonderful thread that I have ever used.  :dance: I know what you mean that the colour matches the fabric so well. Isn't is good how it seams to grip the fabric.
After using it 2 weeks ago i was telling all my bear artist friends about it
Everyone must try it. I know i I must sound a bit getting soooooooo excited over thread!!!!!!!!

The ones I received from intercal were little balls on wires

Do you go to Euro teddy as I think this will be the biggest teddy bear show at this time of the year.
