What? You place 42 bears on your bed each morning and you make your bed? ......... hmm.... if I make the bed instead of just straightening things... and I actually place the pillow shams and 3 cushions...that is a big deal. Of course...most of my bears are tiny..so it would look silly putting them on my bed..lol
I have about 30 bears (mostly my own as I hate to part with lots of them) scattered here and there in a curio cabinet and a barrister (bearister?) bookcase... have a dozen on a bench in the foyer..another 6 in a basket. Most of mine are not artist bears..but store bought that I think are pretty darn cute....just had to have.. years before I began to make my own. A few bunnies and tiger and lion tossed in for good measure...
Yup, me too..... think I would have to use the cactus for sharp pointy things...needles and pins would look perfect in those!
That's one prickly pear..... but kinda cute...
I don't get it........................................................................just kidding.....
hahahhahahhahhah .......
what a wonderful day in comparison......alright!!
heheheheheh... oh, Kim.....that is funny. They just hate things like that don't they? .... I used to try a cat on a leash from time to time.... they would just dig in their heels and go absolutely nowhere!
The look on her face...oh, no....
Well, if you look at the "lead"...it is attached to his bum.....or something...it is just all wrong..hahahhahha
Exactly.... what Charlotte said..it is your diaphragm....in a spasm or being a bit squeezed by continuous poor posture....as in bear making?.... and also being adversly affected by shallow breathing.
Try to learn a few yoga breatlhing exercises..... they can often help. A few massages might be of benefit too... if you can find a good massage therapist who knows their stuff.
"Hot wings".... u are too funny Charlotte.......
But.. Marlys...you only began in Feb!! You are well on your way to becoming one of the top chatters on TT!! lol
you old windbag! ...... hahahhahahah ......... .....jk...
.... and for the rest....just show up naked carrying a 6 pack of beer...............
Haven't read the book but saw the author and his wife and daughter on an animal trainer type show...they spoke about Marley and the fact that without him there woul d have been no book. They have a new dog...same breed.... and other problems.. lol
This one won't come when called and so they are working with several trainers to get it on track and also have tossed in some hunting skills as that is what the dogs are bred for.... and it seems they just aren't happy when they don't get to do their life's work... The owner's laughingly admit they are the ones that need the training....
Charlotte...those are beautiful....I was going to ask if the parchment was coloured..but then I read again...and you coloured it.
Wonder if baking parchment would work the same...hmmm...
Yummy......a "Strawbearry"!
Great job Edie.... you have still managed to maintain a larger bear look. Still have a lot of experession and the faces are ... uhm... how to say it right... "shaped" ...I guess is the word I am groping for. Are they a 2 piece head?.... very nice!
Heather .....
This might be something you could try if you dont want the hide with the hair...looks like she combs and picks and has small bags of various colours for sale...
That is weird because it is listed in their catalogue... but...now I want to know so I will go to mine tomorrow and check .....
Hi Jane.....
Michael's does carry Liquid Sculpey.. your store must have been out of stock....look with the clay products....
What a face! beautiful nose...he is just great.
Definitely would be a long time to stuff compared to the minis.... have to say I prefer making the smaller bears myself...
Hi Ania
There is no reason you should have to buy some small pieces on here at all.... Natasha got a small stash given to her for free when she was looking for some fabric...I am sure some of those same girls or the ones who came on later and realized she had enough already will be willing to send you some pieces so that you can have some fun too....
please send me your address either by private message or on this board...I will be happy to ship you some fabric....
poor little guy was a wreck! good job with the rescue!
Awwww...they are so cute Ellen....and just in time for Easter too..... I was wondering which technique you used ............what a great job you did with them.!
I say forget diets and plans....you will always feel deprived.
Eat more veggies.... plenty of salads.... less fats.....read the labels carefully and see what you are actually eating. Check the actual amount of fat in your diet. Think every time you put something into your mouth...and further to that...every time you do put in something...take your time... choose well.... and chew it well..savour every mouthful you choose. I am betting you will be surprised to see what is actually causing your weight gain once you get into what I call "detective mode". Soon..you don't have to think about it..you know what you want to eat and what is a nuisance. Don't waste your time and money with the nuisance stuff.
Initially just try eating smaller portions of anything containing fat, salt, sugar, etc.. but give yourself larger portions of the good stuff like the veggies and certain fruits. Drink more water...
If you are trying to drink more milk for osteoporosis problems... switch to skim. If you must have butter on toast or other cooking... just use a barely visible scraping of it... things like that make a huge difference even after only 2 weeks of being sincere in your desire to eat better.

good luck with your efforts to be healthier...
Thanks everybody for your nice comments on Raggedy and also tx for taking a look at my other dolls. Glad you like them.
Shelli.... she is not totally "original" Bumblebearies I suppose... in that her body parts are from a pattern by another doll maker..... However, her face is definitely my work...and the shoes, hair, etc.. are my own idea....
I love the face part the best about dolls. For the course I am taking now..it is cloth over a sculpted cloth face and is proving to be a bit tricky...give me a flat face any day I say!
