Well of course she's a a bundle of mischief....she's in her prime. What a darling little bundle of fur you have there, Paula. Oh I miss my little kittens. Puddle is absolutely precious!!!
I was just about to drive myself nuts with this very question today....
I knew I had read something about it somewhere...GO FIGURE it would be here on TEDDY TALK!!!
Good point Daphne about the Urgent/Immediate Care Facility...I always forget them...because the one here is absolutely worthless. Everytime I've had to go there I've sworn it was the last.
Hugs, Eliza
Oh good grief...the problem with our health care system here in the US is everyone doctor wants to be in charge but noone wants to be responsible.  I've seen in over and over again!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR Okay I'm off my soapbox.
I agree with what's been said...head to the ER...there will be not only a psychiatrist but a pharmacist there who should be able to help straighten out what you have going on or at least get you headed in the right direction. And I wouldn't leave until someone does. I'd also ask the nurses to recommend a primary care doctor...nurses are always the best people to ask...THEY KNOW who's good and who stinks!!!
Take care of yourself Eliza....we are all thinking about you!!!

Hi Kelly,
I think a lot of us have a love/hate relationship with Ebay. It's a great venue in many ways and wonderful avenue for putting your bears right out there for collectors who choose that method of buying BUT it takes a lot of time and consist exposure to start really building a collector base (of which I'm terrible about.) I know we've talked about that a lot in the past here on TT. Even those who have had a really good following and then for whatever reason have needed to take break have commented about having to rebuild again.
But there is the crap, for lack of a better word, that goes with Ebay...the non-paying bidders, the auction hi-jackers, the auctions that start hours after they should, the list goes on...it simply is not a perfect setup no matter how hard Ebay would like you to believe it is.
Many artist set a reserve on their bears. You might consider doing that and see how that works for you. I certainly wouldn't undersell yourself because you won't be happy in the end and it's not worth selling your hard work for less than you value it.
Good Luck with Ebay Kelly...I love it...and I simply HATE it at times. (Ebay not your work... )

I guess you should be careful what you ask for and who you ask...we could all show up with a truck full of something!!!!
Aleta darling, I have a partial 10 lbs bag from CR Crafts and since I seem to not be making many bears as of late I would be happy to either meet up with you or plop them in the mail. My little bridge in the driveway is closed today because they are removing a tree so I'm stuck at home for the day (poor poor me ) but I'd be happy to do it any other time this week. I'm not sure how much it weighs...heaven for bid there is no scale at this house. The Apple Dumplings don't want to know how much they weight :)
Let me know....

Wonderful pictures Jane...it just makes me soooooo want to be there in person. Sigh!!!
You must be Woman Woman!!!
Awwwwwwwwwww...she's adorable...I love black kitties. We have one that came to live with us last fall during the harvest moon right before Halloween...she's my lucky charm...Slinky is her name.
This wee one makes me miss all my little babies as the last one Stinkerbell just found a home over the weekend and I'm missing her terribly...okay here comes the alligator tears.
Enjoy her Paula...she is puuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrfect!!!
Hi Andrea,
Long time no see...
I asked a similiar question some time ago and a great conversation came out of it. I'm posting a link for you if you'd like to take a peek some time. It's rather long but there are some wonderful links within the thread and ideas on making your own and if I remember correctly where to buy them as well.
http://www.teddy-talk.com/viewtopic.php?id=3837
Please don't let this stop anyone from posting additional information. I just have this particular thread saved for my own reference and go to it myself because I found it informational so I wanted to share it.
Grab your favorite drink, sit back and enjoy...

I don't think it's just the bear industry that has "misused" the term. You see it in the general toy industry as well...go to any toy store and you see the word on children's toys. They've taken the anime illustrations from cartoons children see on TV and comic books and turned them into characters children can play with.
It's not only an American misuse of the term. There are other International artists who make what we call anime bears. I can think of one off the top of my head because I admire her darling little bears, Vivienne Galli of the Galli Collection. She often describes her bears as "anime style". I've seen many others as well.
Interesting links however...
I figured you probably already had...but on the off chance you hadn't. I just love them...sigh
Shelli,
Have you by chance been to this site and checked out these gorgeous vintage style bears...I found it one day via Aleta's blog.
I thought of puppy as well, SueAnn...a cute little terrier type puppy. Darling...simply a darling!!
First of all, thanks ladies for the tips!!
Dorothy, two of my kids ARE in their 20's...I'm still in denial  my youngest is 16. I think he may be the cause of all my new wrinkles.
Shelli, that is a lovely photo of you. I hardly wear any makeup either. I've always liked the natural look...anything more and I look like I should be standing on a street corner.
New photo...procrastination...bottom line!!! Well, that and getting Taylor ready for school to start next week. He has what we call daily doubles here which is football practice twice daily...starting at 6:00 - 8:00 a.m. and then again from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. Soon, I'll get it taken and posted...soon!!!
Let me be the first to welcome you to what I call the Pacific NorthWET!!
You might tap into Aleta, The Silly Bear and Kim, Friends "Fur" Life Bears as they are both either from the Seattle area although Aleta now lives in Portland Oregon. I'm sure either would be great resources.
Good luck on your relocation...I've made that same move and back...it is an adventure!!!
Hugs,
Shantell
I've have never been a very vain person...but honestly in the past year I swear the wrinkles have popped out faster than Skippy pops out kittens. And, now that I've dropped a few pounds they are even MORE noticeable. Anyone got any secrets for either hiding them or getting them to just plain GO AWAY. I don't want to look like I have kids in their 20's. I've enjoyed people says "you don't look old enough..." and I'd like to keep it that way.
Any products out there that actually work for diminishing those fine lines? I can't believe I'm actually asking this.
Drooping Hugs,

Ooooh....how cool is that!!! So glad you were safe and comfy in your kitchen and she didn't decide to just come and rap on the window right back at ya.
Shantell, you have a dirty mind........LOL
   busted!!! LOL
But on a serious note...I more than once caught my ex playing with the kid's toys in the tubby when they were little and the kids weren't in the tub with him.
And, my 16 year old took a bath here recently to relax his achy muscles after practice and I have some "It's A Small World" toys (little boat with people of different countries) in the bathroom and they were mysteriously wet afterwards. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
Shelli's game sounds like a lot of fun. I know I've played some fun games at baby showers but I can't remember any. Old-timers has set in.
I think they are cool...but then I come from University of Oregon country...Home of the DUCKS!!!
Go for it...nothing wrong with a rubber ducky floating around in the tub...and don't let any guy try and convince you they don't like to play with things in the the bath tub...they are lying.
SueAnn...personally, I love your messy workspace. Look at all that creativity just flowing around in there.
Clean desk (workspace) is the sign of a sick mind!!!!
Congratulations!!! Babies I just love them...the way they feel, smell, just everything about them....awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!
but I'm glad it's you and not me
Jennifer,
Shelli handpaints all her bears eyes, as you probably already know. She has shared her technique with here and here's a link to one of posts...I think it starts about #5.
http://www.teddy-talk.com/viewtopic.php?id=203 (although I noticed the images are no longer there...hmmmmmmmmm) I'm sure you can find her beautiful bears little peepers on her website or blog. )
It's fun...a bit messy...but fun anyway.
Hugs,
I do the same thing as Daphne and get the same results as Daphne...so I'm not sure what the deal is either.
I click on BUY (top right of screen)
Then DOLLS & BEARS (bottom lrft column)
Then ARTIST Under the BEARS list (half way down left column)
The search results come up and I can further sort by choosing ARTIST MADE** or something like that, getting rid of any manufactured ones.
It's actually OOAK. ;0
Ebay is just plain WEIRD!!!
Thanks Tami,

You have to choose whichever template type you are using and she explains how you do that in the article.
The graphic is the logo that Shelli designed for me last year as part of my business cards, hangtags, etc. I added the description part to the bottom and saved it as a jpg. In the section where you put in your logo title and description in Blogger you can add a graphic...the size I used was 600 x 160 pixels (if that helps). You then choose to hide your text (otherwise it shows up over your picture)...the option pops up when you choose the graphic. I think I had to save it and then go back and edit it if I remember correctly. I just fumbled my way through it. I was smart enough to save my original template before doing anything just in case I hated what I ended up with.
Email me if you have questions...and I'll go into mine and see EXACTLY what I did.
Have fun...it's a bit addicting.
